Short summary: Apartment overall is nice but the staff is horrible. They are super good at communication and helping you when you're touring and about to move in, but as soon as you sign the lease contract, you're on your own!
*(Read the entire thing if you want super honest review as a 1-year tenant:)*
-The apartment itself is nice, the trash rooms are definitely messy and gross and nobody seems to follow the rules and just dumps their trash anywhere. The hallways smell gross (it is carpet) and nobody ever vacuums or cleans the hallways.
-The valet trash staff that come here Mon-Fri evening to pick up trash is really disrespectful. They always hang out really creepily around the lobby area that is right next to the mailroom. He probably uses the coffee machine more than anyone in the entire apartment. He is always on his phone on a call or facetime and talks super loudly and he is almost laying on the sofa or chairs and acting like he owns the place.
-There are crazy people who live here who will play insanely loud music with the balcony doors open way past midnight on a weekday.
The staff that work here including the manager are so hard to get in contact with. They have absolute no respect for the tenants that live here. If you have any problems with living here and dare to complain about it, they will make sure to ignore you as long as they can or make fake promises and never ever follow up. The manager is the same. Do not expect anything from the staff.
-I got robbed here several months ago too and when I asked the staff if I can see the CCTV footage of the lobby/elevator, they immediately pointed fingers at me, saying it's my fault for not locking the door. (True but also on a concerning note, way before the robbery, I had multiple occasions where I can see/hear someone trying to open my apartment door to check if it is locked or unlocked.) I told the staff this and they did not even seem to believe me, they said that no one in the apartment including staff and tenants would do that but they do feel sorry this happened to me. I was so stunned that they would not even let me see their CCTV footage even though I knew roughly what time I got robbed. I asked for the manager and he gave me his email to contact him but he never even replied once. There are no cameras anywhere in the hallways. And literally, the SAME day I got robbed, at night around 12am, someone tried to open my door AGAIN. It's unbelievable. Of course, being a female who lives alone, I did not try to open the door and follow them or confront them. I complained to the staff the very next day and they said they cannot do anything. I realized that the staff do not care at all genuinely what happens to the tenants living here, so I installed a Ring camera right outside my door. After that I did not have any issues.
-My front neighbor also has a Ring camera because they were harrassed by a neighbor downstairs complaining that they were too loud on their move in day. There was a crazy woman in her 30's who was always drunk or high who, whenever passing by our doors, she would scream at our cameras and curse at us. And she even spit at our front door neighbor's trash can and destroyed their Ring camera. I had footage of that and so did the front neighbor, and we both took the footage and sent it to the management/staff complaining about it, but of course, nobody replied! :)
-The way the apartment tenant site is set up to pay your bills and stuff is super convenient and you can do auto-pay. You can also easily see your entire history of payments, seeing details of how much is for what etc. You can see future payments.
-There is also a helpful small community blog post area where you can post furniture or things you're selling etc.
-The apartment has a food truck come once a week-ish in front of the parking garage. But of course, since these are events that our lovely staff is coordinating, it realistically only happens twice-ish a month because they "miscommunicate" with the food truck companies.
-Gym is nice, has all the basic equipment.
