Mine was a smooth experience moving in harbour pointe. As an international worker,The support rendered by the staff way before I moved into the US made sure I had a memorable transition coming from a different continent.
I like the serenity, the peace and the quiet that comes with nature around here.
I wanna appreciate the staff And most especially TAMMIE for her amazing support.

Extremely frustrating and unprofessional application process.
From the beginning, their application system repeatedly asked me to resubmit information I had ALREADY provided. I kept submitting everything requested, and I continued receiving calls asking me whether I had completed things that were already completed. This went on all day.
After all of that, I was ultimately told I was denied because of a $42 balance associated with another apartment complex that I have NEVER lived at. So after spending 3 days repeatedly submitting documentation I already had but their system so old just like their complex.. and trying to resolve issues with their application system, apparently my application was denied over a balance from a property that isn’t even my rental history.
If you’re going to deny someone based on a screening report, at least make sure the information actually belongs to the applicant. I would strongly recommend applicants keep screenshots and documentation of everything they submit because the application process was extremely disorganized in my experience.
I was genuinely interested in the property, but after this experience, I’m glad I found out how they handle applicants before moving in. Absolutely unacceptable.
They wanted to keep the $225
Also they make u email them ur id and social after u uploaded to the application. They so worried about ppl scamming the whole time they are as well.

I’ve been very happy with Harbor Pointe Apartments. The property is well maintained, my apartment has been great, and the staff has been friendly and helpful throughout the entire process.
A special thank you to Tammy, who went above and beyond to help me before, during, and even after my move. She made the whole experience much easier and has always been responsive and welcoming.
Overall, I’ve had a great experience and am very happy I chose Harbor Pointe.

This is a review for my daughter because somehow her reviews keep getting blocked.
Her words: This has been the worse experience I have ever had with an apartment complex.
I was actually very excited about the apartment. I ended up transferring units due to road noise. I was pressured with fines and penalties to transfer everything over to the new unit before even seeing it. Upon seeing it, I was extremely disappointed.
They allow smoking in the units and ventilation isn’t separated between units so it comes into your unit through the vents. There was heavy smoke in the units and causing watery eyes, coughing, chest pains, etc. Management painted and cleaned the ducts twice and it didn’t work and then refused to do anything else to resolve the issue except offer a more expensive unit and then later to terminate my lease early with penalty. There was also a smoke smell when opening the porch door so you really can’t escape it. I was told I needed to get my own air purifier even though I didn’t cause the issue. Ventilation isn’t great here so I would caution especially if you have kids.
There is absolutely no insulation between units so you will hear EVERYTHING. People walking, conversations, doors slamming, things happening in the bathroom. That’s not the worse of it. I just described normal ordinary noise that you shouldn’t be able to hear that but I didn’t complain. What I did complain about was the noise from a neighbor that would BLAST music constantly throughout the day and night and even had an alarm going off in the living room in the morning loud enough to be heard in the back bedroom so he would wake up. Mind I wear ear plugs and it STILL woke me up with the door closed. Management gaslighted me saying this was normal ordinary noise but I don’t think noise that makes my walls vibrate and my fan shake are normal nor ordinary. There is always some kind of motor going off in the morning whether it’s a lawn mower, weed thing, maintenance whatever early in the morning. They could start later. Quiet hours in the lease and everyone in the office said quiet hours start at 9 PM which is one of the reasons I chose this place. However, I was later told that people should start winding down at 9 PM and quiet hours don’t really start at that time.
I also received a fake violation on my door from management about my mother being in the apartment. Management wrote on the notice that she visited in March but I hadn’t signed the lease until mid April. I said something and management stated it was a reminder. I don’t think a notice saying VIOLATION counts as a reminder. To me it’s harassment and retaliation.
Chemical fumes started coming through my vent as well making me very sick. Again they offered to move me to a more expensive unit after receiving a violation from code enforcement.
I ended up terminating the lease early because side nothing was getting resolved and I was concerned about my health. I offered to vacate and just be done with the whole situation but they’re making me keep utilities in my name. So instead of letting me go, and trying to get someone else in here to make more money, they’re saving $30 on electricity and holding onto a $250 deposit. That’s smart.
GSC is the corporate office and they don’t answer the phone. Make sure to check their google reviews too by googling gsc apartments 2922 Hathaway rd. I strongly urge you to check other website reviews.
On the plus I’ve only seen 5 roaches in the apartment and 2 of them were already dead. I asked for the area in front of my door to be power washed and now that I’ve put in my notice they’ve gotten around to it. I guess they have to make it nice and pretty for the next tenant.
Please find somewhere else. Don’t rent here.
