If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and peaceful place to live, this is not the community for you. There are dogs barking constantly throughout the day and well into the night. I’ve been woken up on multiple occasions by dogs barking because residents leave them out on their patios for extended periods of time, where they bark at anyone or anything that walks by. It’s incredibly disruptive and makes it difficult to relax or enjoy being at home. Loud music plays at all hours, kids are constantly yelling and running through the property, and residents frequently speed through the neighborhood, creating an unsafe environment. If you’re paying this much in rent, you expect to come home to peace and quiet, but that simply isn’t the reality here. The walls are paper-thin. I’ve heard neighbors yelling, arguing, and even having sex on multiple occasions. It’s incredibly uncomfortable, disrespectful, and not something anyone should have to listen to in their own home. The hallways and breezeways are filthy. There are cobwebs, bugs everywhere, and the breezeways constantly smell like marijuana. On top of that, there are now roaches. Trash is scattered throughout the property, and the valet trash service regularly drags garbage through the hallways, leaving leaking liquids behind. It’s unsanitary and creates terrible odors. The dog park is full of dog waste that isn’t cleaned up, and it smells awful. To make matters worse, the community grills are located right next to the dog park, so you’re trying to cook while surrounded by the smell of dog waste. The office advertises nice amenities, but they are rarely maintained. The coffee machine is often out of service, and when it does work, there are usually no cups, coffee, sugar, or creamer available. The pool is supposed to close at 9:00 p.m., but there are regularly large groups of people there well after closing time, playing loud music. Many of them don’t even appear to be residents. The gym is also consistently overcrowded with people who don’t seem to live in the community. One of the biggest issues is the lack of consistent management. I haven’t even lived here for a full year, and I’ve already seen three different office teams. Despite all the rules and notices that management sends out, they don’t seem to enforce the rules that actually matter. They are quick to issue policies, but they don’t ensure the community is peaceful, clean, safe, or properly maintained. The overall quality of this community has declined dramatically. For the amount of money residents pay to live here, it should be much cleaner, quieter, and better managed. Instead, it’s become a noisy, disruptive place to live where basic standards of cleanliness and quality of life are ignored. The amenities may look appealing during a tour, but the day-to-day living experience has been extremely disappointing. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to call home, I honestly cannot recommend this community.

Lives here for almost 2 years and Honestly one of the worst buildings I’ve stayed in and I lived in the barracks ,there’s constantly trash around the property , the valet trash never comes at the same time consistently , also the fire alarm constantly goes off and we never have anything get fixed or any explanation from the Darnell on why it goes off , I have tried to find names and contact information to complain and talk to someone but all I can do is talk to the front desk and they have nothing to do with the building would recommend not to live in the 1000 building unless you want to constantly deal with firearms , loud cars , and almost getting run over cause nobody enforced and rules .

I lived there for a year and a half. I moved out and It’s been a month since I’ve been requesting a refund for my deposit. I understand there’s a process involved, but every time I call, they consistently say, “I’ll get it next week.” Very disappointing. Update: I went to pick up my deposit refund, but they were deducting money for “damages” I didn’t cause. Normal wear and tear on carpet shouldn’t be charged, and extra charges for “cleaning” shouldn’t be either. Since they lacked proof for the “damages” because the pictures they had didn’t show anything. I spoke to the manager’s assistant, and he agreed to get my money back for the carpet charges at least. For anyone with a contract here, be careful when they return your deposit. Take pictures before leaving to avoid unexpected charges for things you didn’t damage. Overall this property was good to live in.
