I am extremely disappointed by the behavior I witnessed from an employee at the Beacon Station Apartments leasing office today, August 20, 2026, at approximately 1:50 PM.
I do not know the employee’s name, but she was a Black woman with shoulder-length curly hair who was working in the leasing office at the time. Her behavior toward a courier was completely unprofessional, hostile, and confrontational. I witnessed her approach the courier aggressively, use profanity, make threats, and escalate the interaction to the point that the courier appeared visibly uncomfortable and afraid.
Regardless of what disagreement may have occurred, there is absolutely no excuse for an employee representing a residential community to behave in such an intimidating and antagonistic manner while at work. Rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation professionally, her actions appeared to provoke and intensify the confrontation.
The leasing office is supposed to be a professional environment where residents, visitors, delivery personnel, and other members of the public can feel comfortable conducting business. The behavior I witnessed today demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, judgment, and conflict-resolution skills.
I strongly encourage Beacon Station Apartments management to review what occurred around 1:50 PM on August 20 and address this employee’s conduct appropriately. No courier, resident, visitor, or anyone else conducting legitimate business at the property should be made to feel threatened or unsafe by a member of the leasing staff.
