  I am extremely disappointed with my experience as a homeowner at Ryan Homes at Newberry. I closed on my home on June 2026 and since moving in, I have experienced one problem after another. The issues have included damaged cabinets, improperly installed exterior doors, a malfunctioning garage door, and most seriously, an HVAC system that failed and began emitting smoke from the outside unit. This was extremely concerning because it created a potential fire and safety hazard for my family and my property. I understand that minor issues can sometimes happen with new construction, but the number and seriousness of the problems I have experienced so soon after closing are unacceptable. These are not simply cosmetic concerns. A newly built home should not have repeated defects, especially issues involving major systems and safety. I expect Ryan Homes to take these concerns seriously, properly identify the cause of each issue, and make the necessary repairs in a timely and thorough manner. Homeowners should feel confident that their new home was built correctly and that problems will be handled appropriately after closing. Unfortunately, my experience has greatly affected my confidence in Ryan Homes. I will definitely share my experience with others who may be considering purchasing one of their homes. I truly hope Ryan Homes addresses these concerns and improves both the quality of its homes and the service provided to homeowners after closing.

  This review is to address my wife and my experience with Ryan Homes from our first contact with the sales rep up to the lot and elevation selections as well as chosen upgrades and material types and colors. Our experience has been tiring but extremely exciting at the same time. Our first interaction with the Ryan Homes team came through a sales representative by the name of Noel Bird. I must say that working with Noel has made this phase of the process very enjoyable. Noel has been very professional, courteous, and patient. I have asked Noel a million questions and he has answered each one of them thoroughly. I mean he has taken his time to ensure that all my wife's and my questions were answered in a way that was truly clear to us. Noel would even take the time to send us pictures so we would have a complete understanding of the information we were looking for. We changed our minds about selections we had made many times but it never fazed Noel. I never got the feeling that Noel was trying to rush through our interactions so he could move on to the next one. As I mentioned earlier, he was very patient. Noel was also knowledgeable of his products. This surprised me because it has not been my experience of late that sales professionals are knowledgeable of the product or service they are selling. I can't speak to what our experiences will be as we continue to move through the process of buying a home from Ryan Homes, but if the remainder of the process is anything like this first phase, it's going to be awesome. Noel has set an extremely high bar for customer service and I'm hoping this level will be maintained by each and every team member of Ryan Homes that we interact with. Great job Noel and the rest of the Ryan Homes team!
