Where do I even begin … I’ll start with the animals in my ceiling. For over a year I dealt with all kinds of animals in the crawl space of my ceiling. Prior management gas lit me, work orders were waved away, and they did nothing about it. Only until I broke down crying in Tyra’s office begging for help did anything actually get done. And even then it took months, even then I had to be the one to show the professional critter catcher where the exterior holes were. Then there was the leaking doors. I lived on the first floor, with a concrete patio, anytime it rained, water would seep in. I made maintenance aware, asked if anything could be done, and was basically told that all the buildings have issues … so every single time it rained, I had to put towels down, right up until the day I moved. Then there was the valet trash, which is mandatory, and $32 a month, and there’s another $8 trash fee, making it $40 a month for trash. And valet? I’d be lucky if they picked up my trash once a week. When I brought it to Tyra’s attention she told me to download the valet trash app, and speak to them about it. So I did, and for weeks I was told that they didn’t know why my trash wasn’t being picked up and that they would “look into it” they never did, and nothing ever changed. I never got a pool key, didn’t matter, I think the pool might have been open 2 weeks the whole 20 months I lived there. Tyra’s probably doing her best, at first I was hopeful with new management, but as time went on my hope dissipated. Tyra’s tone became condescending, and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. To sum it up, I wouldn’t recommend living here, keep looking. This place is disappointing. And Tyra, if you’re reading this, please don’t reach out.
