As a current resident speaking purely based on my own experience, I can honestly say that I have had nothing but good experiences with the current staff and have no problem getting any of my service/maintenance issues resolved. I have heard bad things and seen bad reviews about the previous management company. But my overall experience living here at The Belaire has been pleasant. It isn't like living at the ritz carlton but I don't expect that. My expectation of living in a quiet, family friendly, mostly clean, environment that I can afford has been met. I have nice neighbors and the management team (TYRA!) does a great job even though she is currently understaffed. I appreciate her and the engineers. They are doing all they can do with a skeleton crew! I hope to renew my lease when the current one is up and stay until I can buy my little dream house!

My experience with Tyra was very disappointing. Her customer service was poor from start to finish. She came across as dismissive, lacked professionalism, and did not make me feel like my concerns or questions mattered. A customer service refresher would greatly benefit her, as the interaction left a negative impression and did not meet the level of service I expected. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity for improvement so future customers have a better experience.

Where do I even begin … I’ll start with the animals in my ceiling. For over a year I dealt with all kinds of animals in the crawl space of my ceiling. Prior management gas lit me, work orders were waved away, and they did nothing about it. Only until I broke down crying in Tyra’s office begging for help did anything actually get done. And even then it took months, even then I had to be the one to show the professional critter catcher where the exterior holes were. Then there was the leaking doors. I lived on the first floor, with a concrete patio, anytime it rained, water would seep in. I made maintenance aware, asked if anything could be done, and was basically told that all the buildings have issues … so every single time it rained, I had to put towels down, right up until the day I moved. Then there was the valet trash, which is mandatory, and $32 a month, and there’s another $8 trash fee, making it $40 a month for trash. And valet? I’d be lucky if they picked up my trash once a week. When I brought it to Tyra’s attention she told me to download the valet trash app, and speak to them about it. So I did, and for weeks I was told that they didn’t know why my trash wasn’t being picked up and that they would “look into it” they never did, and nothing ever changed. I never got a pool key, didn’t matter, I think the pool might have been open 2 weeks the whole 20 months I lived there. Tyra’s probably doing her best, at first I was hopeful with new management, but as time went on my hope dissipated. Tyra’s tone became condescending, and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. To sum it up, I wouldn’t recommend living here, keep looking. This place is disappointing. And Tyra, if you’re reading this, please don’t reach out.

Requested a repair, it was “fixed” very incorrectly, they charged me for it after I moved out, I have sent multiple emails trying to get it corrected, and instead of fixing it or even contacting me back they sold the “debt” to a collection agency and it is now on my credit, and they STILL haven’t emailed me back after a year of me trying to fix it
