  I am extremely disappointed and heartbroken by how my AC emergency was handled by the maintenance department. On September 16th, I contacted the property about my AC and specifically emailed my concerns about how hot my apartment was getting. A maintenance technician came out and told me the AC had been fixed. I trusted that my issue had been properly addressed. It wasn’t. The temperature inside my apartment reached approximately 96 degrees, and on September 17th—just ONE day after I reported the problem—my elderly dog suffered heat stroke and died. I cannot express how devastating it is to know that I asked for help with the AC, was told it had been fixed, and yet my apartment remained dangerously hot. My dog was elderly, and I was especially concerned about the heat. I did what I was supposed to do: I reported the problem and made my concerns known. What is even more upsetting is how my concerns were handled afterward. I emailed management about what happened, and instead of receiving the seriousness, compassion, and accountability I expected after losing my dog, my concerns were essentially dismissed in an email. The maintenance technician should never have told me the AC was fixed if it wasn’t actually working properly. This was not a minor maintenance issue. This was an extreme heat situation that I reported one day before my dog died. I am sharing this review because residents deserve to know how seriously their maintenance concerns are going to be treated. I will never get my dog back, and this experience has been absolutely heartbreaking. I sincerely hope the property takes responsibility for how this situation was handled and ensures that another resident and their pet never have to go through something like this. And to clarify it was the first maintenance tech not the second one. Edit: the temp never went down while he was there at all. It stayed at 83 degrees, I trusted that the issue would be resolved because you have fixed it before. But it wasn’t. Although you made attempts to fix the issue it doesn’t negate the fact that he ultimately lied and said the issue was fixed. And I expressed my concerns in a email I sent. Twice and it wasn’t Marcelo who fixed it, it was the older gentleman who fixed it and told me what was exactly what was wrong with the ac.

  Was scheduled for tour and when I got there? The office was locked and closed. Didn’t answer my calls…The low price might seem worth it at first, but in the long run they are unprofessional and that is not how you want to live.
