I have been living at Century New Holland, and unfortunately my experience has become increasingly frustrating. During my time here, I have dealt with repeated cockroach problems inside my apartment, and I have taken photos to document what I have found. I have reported these concerns to management and have been patient while waiting for the issues to be properly addressed. Unfortunately, the problem has continued. I have also experienced strong marijuana odors coming into my apartment and throughout my unit. I have communicated this concern to management as well, but the smell has continued. Another issue has been the lack of consistent follow-up. I have reached out about problems and provided information when requested, but there have been situations where I felt like I was left waiting without a clear resolution or follow-up. I also experienced an issue involving the gate, which I reported to management and never received the follow-up I expected regarding the situation. What makes this experience especially frustrating is that I am currently pregnant and preparing for my baby, so having a clean and comfortable living environment is extremely important to me. I did not decide to consider moving simply because I wanted a change. These concerns have been building over time and have affected my comfort in my own home. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves communication, follow-up, and the handling of ongoing maintenance and living-condition complaints.

Those that are rating this a 4 or 5 star apartment complex, I firmly believe they don't have a point of reference for what a true 5 star apartment living is like. There are multiple areas where this place could use drastic improvements. They've advertised themselves as luxury living but anywhere near a luxury place living would perform at a higher expectation. The amenities: They have a gated pool which gives you access to their 24/7 gym but the gate at the pool never works! So you cannot access the gym 24/7. Most times you have to go through the main leasing office. Once leasing office closes at 6pm, you lose access to the gym. The electrical equipment in the gym doesn't work (treadmills or any of the electrical equipment). The floor is clearly dirty. I doubt they do regular daily vacuuming or any cleaning. To keep from constantly having to request maintenance to fix the pool gate, residents have left the door propped open. This has given non-residents access to the pool. They come in large groups with liquor and loud music and treat it as their personal backyard to throw parties and it makes it unpleasant residents. The pool chairs stay broken. This summer they removed most chairs "for repairs" when they could just easily replace the broken chairs so that there wasn't a shortage of sitting. They advertise having a great area for jogging. The place reeks of dog poop as dog owners leave their pet's waste and pick-up is not enforced nor maintenance does a routine clean up. It makes going out for run at the premises an unpleasant experience. Especially in the hot days. The previous "luxury" apartments I had lived at before did a daily clean up of the complex (the hallways) which is what I expected from Century New Holland. But they don't even perform a weekly cleaning. Neighbors will have their dogs pee in the hallways and it is not cleaned up. There are stray cats that neighbors will feed attracting them even more. I've walked out to find dead mice and birds near the entrance of my unit from cats bringing them in. They dead animals will lay there for several days. I pay a monthly pest control fee but I constantly have to buy my own pest control stuff to keep the roaches away! Although the maintenance crew is quick to respond to repairs, they lack professionalism in regards to their hygiene leaving behind strong body odor. I highly believe good hygiene is important in any line of work. It is a reflection of the complex as a whole. Management sent an email about a month ago letting residents know that a crew will be coming by to pressure wash and to bring in outdoor furniture. My unit was never washed. There's still the dogs dried puddle of pee in the hallway. My balcony was given to me with dark stains from the previous tenants when I moved in. My balcony furniture stayed in my living room for a whole week and no one ever came to wash it. It's supposed to be a no-smoking complex but it constantly smells of marijuana. For the amount of rent that they charge, you'd expect to get a decent unit. The kitchen counters are not granite - at least my building isn't. That is false advertisement on their part. The bedrooms and living room do not have a light unit. I've asked them about that and they said we have to just get lamps. Every room (bedrooms, living room, kitchen, etc) has multiple light switches. I don't understand the purpose of them since there aren't any lights to switch on! The one bedroom that does have lighting, the lights are extremely dim. They advertise having a car wash- the car wash has never worked. It seems they use it for maintenance storage. The entrance gates have never worked properly. I don't understand the point of locking one gate but leaving another one wide open. It defeats the purpose of having gates. The parts I do appreciate from this place: The staff is nice. If I bring up a concern, they have been friendly. They do have a pet park. Most people just don't take their pets there. They do provide doggy bags along the pathways for residents to use. They just can't be bothered.

Multiple exterior lights that are supposed to illuminate parking areas, driveways, and pedestrian walkways have been out for an extended period. Building hallway lights in the 600 building are also non-functional. On top of that, the community gates have not been operating properly for the latter part of 2026. These ongoing failures leave residents and visitors navigating dark parking lots, dark walkways, and poorly secured entrances. This is a clear safety and security problem. The property is currently in an unsafe condition due to the lack of working lights and functional gates.

Never lived in a place that actually made me feel genuinely welcomed like Century New Holland has. It baffles me each day with how great and speedy the help and service has been here that I’m living somewhere where the landlord doesn’t want me dead. Just don’t talk to that tall guy from higher up.
