    I wish I could give negative stars, but the system won’t allow it—that’s the only reason I’m giving 1 star. I currently live at Carlyle Apartment and am dealing with a serious and ongoing maintenance issue that has not been resolved despite multiple requests. Dirty water is leaking through the exhaust fan from the top-floor restroom into my bathroom, creating an extremely unhygienic and unsafe living condition. I first raised a complaint on April 15, and since then I have submitted a total of five maintenance requests—on April 17, April 23, May 1, and May 5. Each time, the requests have been closed without resolving the issue. It has now been over a month, and the problem still persists. I have also sent emails to the property manager, but there has been no response at all—not even a basic courtesy reply. The lack of communication and accountability is very disappointing. The responsiveness shown during the leasing process is completely absent once you become a resident. This situation is not minor—it involves wastewater leaking into a living space, which should be treated as a top-priority health concern. However, management has shown no urgency or responsibility in addressing it. Living here has become extremely stressful due to these unresolved issues. I strongly urge prospective tenants to think carefully before choosing this apartment. It may be helpful to speak with current residents and understand their experiences before making a decision.

    DO NOT MOVE HERE. They asked me to GET OUT of the office for talking firmly and asking questions. One guy STORMED toward me like he was going to HIT me. I wasn't even shouting or raising my voice — just asking questions and standing my ground. This is not how any resident should be treated. The manager/management are the rudest people I have come across. I have been renting for more than 5 years and have never encountered this type of behavior. I moved into this apartment complex 3 months ago. They messed up my address in the beginning, which was eventually sorted out. Later, I submitted an application to add my wife to the lease. She signed the rental agreement policy and paid the fee on April 3. She has still not been added, and we have not received the updated lease for her address proof. They claim that an ApproveShield background verification has been initiated and is taking time — but I called ApproveShield directly and they confirmed they did NOT receive any application for my wife's background check. I had added my number to my wife's application because she did not have a phone number at the time. My wife and I visited the office multiple times, and they never mentioned this to us. Regardless, I don't believe that is the reason the application is on hold — because as I found out, they did NOT even submit the application to ApproveShield. The management is incompetent and rude, to say the least. DO NOT move here just because it is slightly cheaper.
