Great starter apartment but its kind of going downhill. Trash hasn’t been removed going on three weeks. I dread taking out the trash because it smells so bad and theres flies everywhere. Also now the exit is blocked. Im seriously debating on not renewing. The quality of tenants has gone down, they now let people have pets, which means dog poop everywhere. Staff are great and any issue they will fix immediately. I am disappointed how they are handling this dumpster situation. There has been zero communication about the issue. Yet they can still send out emails about rent. Its a potential safety hazard waiting to happen. Rats and bugs will start infesting soon.

The price of a two bedroom is reasonable, and once moved in the space was clean, I like the space to walk my dog, and maintenance/the front office staff are great. The things I dislike about MCC is that other residents can make it hard to live here, and the switch to Pegasus management has made it decline. The walls and window glass are thin, so if someone is noisier than "normal living," it's impossible to ignore. The insulation is also poor. The neighbors beside my bedroom smoke w*** a few times a day, which is great for them, but bad for me as the smell seeps through my bedroom window and I get startled by their outside storage door opening and closing. I've also noticed much more litter and after the switch, the trash hasn’t been picked up in weeks. Which is sad because it originally was a very pretty property. I re-signed for one more year simply based on the price, but I wouldn’t say I like it here. I couldn't recommend, especially if you work from home, due to the noise / new trash issue and lack of anything being done about it.

To anyone who might go there to rent an apartment be very careful the office people are liars. They tell you one thing and then after you give them $225 for application and 175 for the deposit to hold the apartment they tell you a different story when you ask them about getting your money back you’re $175 did tell you they’ll send a check and it will take between two weeks to a month to get your money back they’re worrying about collecting money for a utility company from another state which appeared on my credit report as a mistake. They told me that unless I pay that bill, I couldn’t have an apartment after they took my money and I told the woman ahead of time about that issue and she told me that that was not going to be a problem I guess she lied because it did turn out to be a problem. They took my $50 and another $50 for the application fee that was $100 and the 175 for the deposit that I have to wait to get back in a check when I gave it to them from my Debit and all regards I was really disgusted by the place. The first thing I saw was a water bug when I went to see the apartment and I still continue to give the benefit of the doubt, but they are liars so be very careful before you give them your money, they’re so interested in collecting money For another state utility company as if they were gonna get a cut out of it. right now, even if I was to be offered an apartment from them, I wouldn’t take it for the simple fact that they don’t know how to mind their business and they wanna play collection agency when they don’t know nothing of what the situation was.

Ever since move-in the front office & maintenance has been nothing short of amazing! Every email or maintenance request I've submitted has gotten addressed within 24 hours & everyone is so thorough, direct, & efficient. The common areas are well kept & the community itself is pretty quiet. I haven't seen any bugs inside of my apartment & the apartment was spotless at move-in. Coming from a less than pleasant experience with my last complex, everyone at Marks Church Commons has, by their actions, reassured me that I will be well taken care of here. Would recommend anyone to live here if they're looking for a moderately affordable well kept, friendly community! I'm already ready to renew LOL

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. They are very accommodating and were able to hook me up with an in unit washer and dryer. Work orders were also completed VERY fast. I submitted very few minor ones, but some of them were fixed literally within like 2 hrs of submission lol. Overall, I loved my time here and would stay much longer if I could.
