Great place to live. Apartments are spacious, dog friendly, and they give breakfast on weekday mornings and complimentary coffee. They also have a fitness center and a pool, as well as EV charging stations. Great place to move to!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience as a resident at Walton Riverwood. My fiancé and I have been residents since August 2025 and I thought it was such a nice community; however, I am disappointed in my experience as a resident there, particularly with how management handled a very serious situation involving the disappearance of my personal property from inside my apartment. I submitted a maintenance request regarding an issue with my apartment and, as part of that request, authorized individuals associated with the property to enter my home to perform maintenance. Following that maintenance visit, I discovered that two of my personal belongings were missing from inside my apartment. These were not inexpensive items. I was subsequently able to use Apple’s tracking technology to locate my devices, and the location information indicated that they were approximately an hour away from my apartment and in close proximity to one another. I provided this information and reported the situation to the appropriate authorities. To be clear, I am not stating as a proven fact that a Walton Riverwood employee stole my belongings. I am stating what I know: my property was inside my apartment, individuals associated with the property were granted access to my apartment for maintenance, and afterward I discovered that my belongings were missing. Given the circumstances and timing, I have serious concerns about how my apartment was accessed and what occurred while that access was being provided. What has been equally troubling is the way management handled my concerns afterward. I expected a situation involving missing personal property following authorized access to a resident’s apartment to be treated with urgency, transparency, and seriousness. Instead, I was left feeling as though my concerns were not adequately addressed and that I was expected to simply accept the situation. The lease itself states that Management may enter an apartment without notice during reasonable hours to inspect, maintain, and repair the premises. It also specifically addresses personal property and states that Management and the owner may be liable where a loss is due to Management’s negligence or intentional misconduct. My concern is therefore not simply that a theft occurred, but whether appropriate care was exercised when individuals were given access to my private residence and whether the circumstances surrounding that access were properly investigated afterward. As a resident, I should not have to question whether my personal belongings are safe inside my own apartment when I am required to provide authorized maintenance personnel access to my home. The entire experience has significantly damaged my trust in this property and its management. I no longer feel comfortable living in a community where I have serious unresolved concerns about what happened to my belongings after maintenance personnel were granted access to my apartment. I am sharing this review because prospective residents deserve to know about my experience before entrusting this property with access to their homes and personal belongings. I sincerely hope management takes situations like this more seriously in the future, conducts appropriate investigations when residents report missing property following maintenance access, maintains adequate records of who enters residents’ homes, and provides residents with meaningful communication and support when something this serious occurs. This review reflects my personal experience, the information available to me, and my concerns regarding the circumstances. Any determination regarding who is responsible for the missing property should be made through the appropriate investigative and legal processes.

If waking up to someone else's bass is your idea of a good morning, then Walton Riverwood might be the place for you. We chose Walton Riverwood because we expected a quiet community, especially for what it costs to live here. Instead, we've spent months dealing with excessive bass and loud music from a neighboring unit. We documented multiple incidents, took video recordings, and even had a member of the management team come into our apartment and hear it firsthand. Despite all of that, we were told there was nothing they could do except let us transfer to another unit for the same rent. In other words, their solution was for us to spend our own time, money, and energy moving because someone else refuses to be respectful of the people living around them. That's incredibly frustrating. When you're paying premium rent, you expect management to address problems like this, not tell the residents affected by them to move. It feels like the answer to every problem is just to spend more money. The most disappointing part is that there are other apartment communities nearby that cost less while offering just as much, if not more. If you're considering Walton Riverwood, I'd recommend taking the time to compare your options before signing a lease. Based on our experience, I wish we had.
