I've lived in the Ren for almost 2 years since August 2024. Here are the pro's and con's in my opinion: Pro's: -Management is friendly, responsive, helpful and seems to truly care. Apt has frequent resident activities. They remember my name and say hi to me in passing. -Amazon locker is probably the best solution for apartment housing and seems to work great for the most part at the Ren. The one time it went out of order it was very apparent that not having amazon locker would be a complete mess in an apartment -Garage has lower and upper access , both extremely close or on the I85 N/S, making commuting anywhere by car really accessible. -Apartment units are renovated and my apartment is overall very nice, huge bathroom space and kitchen space. I got a cheaper carpet unit which I wouldn't have done again, but it was new carpet which is nice at least. -Pet and parking fee is minimal annual fee. I don't have a dog/cat as a pet though, so may be more for that. -Feels safe to walk around in the area that the Ren and Hendrix are in, although the surrounding area in brookhaven is not as nice it's not terrible -Sound insulation seems to be great. Despite their often being planes flying above the apt from the nearby private airport, I don't ever hear the planes unless I am outside. I very rarely hear or notice neighbors from other rooms as well. Mid: -Maintenance is not super proactive, where filters are changed quarterly or units are inspected, other than fire inspection, but requests are often quickly attended to and followed up on after maintenance with texts asking how it went. The building itself is nice in some areas, and leaves a lot to be desired in others - especially the stairwells near the parking lot which sometimes smell like weed and always are filled with trash and have something broken, like a door handle missing or fob not working -Fire alarm goes off 2-3 times a year at night, although management has stated they will prosecute those responsible, there are no camera for that, though it hasn't happened enough for it to be a big issue for me personally. Con's: -Allywaste is the trash vendor and they are often inconsistent (although it has gotten better). The rules were initially unknown to me when I moved in, however, for a long time they would VERY frequently not take my trash. I had to reach out to Allywaste several times to find out that I had not been tying up my trash bag - however I didn't know that was a rule as no one told me. After that trash was more consistent but still there were times it was forgotten which then leaves me without a trash can for the rest of the next day. -Waiver fee. I got renter's insurance which is supposed to waive the "waiver fee", however, despite doing literally all the steps in the process necessary and confirming everything was done right, I still continued to have the waiver fee applied to my rent, every. single. month. which was annoying as I had to call them to have them take it off every time. eventually I just cancelled my renter's insurance. Bonus: a lot of people have given negative review regarding the Hendrix parking garage collapsing, which has affected the Ren's parking situation, especially me -- I live on the second floor which has become the other apartment's "valet space". Obviously this is annoying, and the Ren is NOT giving updates regarding a timeline of when things will be back to normal NOR the progress of the situation (what caused the fire??). BUT they have communicated the parking changes through text and email and given several warnings before changes were implemented.

I had a tour today and absolutely loved it. Jade Whitaker was very kind and extremely helpful—she made us feel more than comfortable and answered every single one of our questions. The place really surprised me; it looks very clean and peaceful.

Zero stars. I’ve lived here several years and conditions have steadily declined with no real solutions from management. After a fire at a neighboring complex, residents were moved into our garage, forcing everyone to share one overcrowded structure with a single entrance/exit. Currently a constant overcrowded garage and often coming home to no parking, which feels unsafe. Since the merging of the parking garage, dumpsters were removed from each level which has caused trash to pile up, dumpsters overflow, and pest issues have increased. In October 2025, a line of cars caught fire directly next to mine while out of town and I was only notified by a neighbor. The ongoing decline has raised serious safety concerns. Only one elevator has worked near my unit for the past year, while the other has been under construction for months with no clear timeline. Management continues to ask for “patience” like there’s additional options, without updates or action. Only Pros: Responsive maintenance team and convenient location.

I give 1 star because I can’t put 0 on my review Absolutely unacceptable and extremely frustrating experience. Both my car and my roommate’s car were towed from our own apartment complex parking in the middle of the night without any warning, notice, or communication whatsoever. Management is currently allowing a neighboring complex to use our parking, which has made it nearly impossible for actual residents to find a spot at night. Instead of addressing the issue they created, they are choosing to tow residents’ vehicles with zero consideration. What makes this even worse is that we didn’t receive a single call, message, or any form of notification before or after towing our cars. Nothing. When we went to the leasing office, they couldn’t even give us an explanation and said only management has access to that information. That is beyond unprofessional. when I went to the office to speak to someone about this she stated she had no information which I found super irresponsible due to the fact that when these things happens everyone in the office should be aware, not just the manager and assistant managers, I can’t just be waiting around for them to give me an answer of why my car was unexpectedly towed this is beyond unacceptable On top of that, we have seen multiple other cars parked in the same way on different nights that were never towed, which makes this situation feel completely inconsistent and unfair. To make matters worse, the tow yard listed on the parking deck signage was not even where our vehicles were taken. We only found the actual location by checking the GPS on our cars. That is completely misleading and adds even more frustration to an already unacceptable situation. Towing residents’ cars without notice, refusing to provide answers, providing incorrect information, and applying rules inconsistently shows a complete lack of accountability and respect. For a place that expects rent to be paid on time, the level of communication and treatment towards residents is unacceptable. Save your money and look elsewhere. I strongly do NOT recommend living here.
