Sonia and company have a serious BLACK mold problem. This was the second apartment on this complex that I lived in that has caused me and several family members health skin and eye problems. The mold is heavy too! Sinus infections on top of trouble sleeping. It seems like they will move you in no problem take your money but drag their feet when a maintenance issue arrives. I want to emphasize that they did the same thing at my previous apartment.
I have also had issues with laundry where several items were stolen including jeans, shorts and underwear from the dryer.
Package theft and late night gunfire has also been a major issue in 2026.
Also, it took them a year to install a screen door for the patio. The dark skinned girl at the front desk also rolls her eyes whenever I make a complaint.
This complex has 2 pools and there are always closed during the summer time. I have asked Sonia multiple times for a new key fob that you have to pay $60 for and this has never been fixed. When I ask for a replacement I get a run around.... Terrible!

I am finally writing my review now that I am just days away from moving out. I would like to make it noted in this review that I will update if I receive any retaliation from management for my honest review—although I doubt they will as the responses to these reviews seem to be all AI-generated.
Ignore every positive review about Johnny fixing sinks and toilets or how someone on the leasing team gave a great tour. These reviews do not accurately reflect what the Legacy at Druid Hills actually is like. I recommend reading all of the 3-star and below reviews for an accurate description of this place OR going to literally any other review website to see that this place is rated HORRIBLY. I wouldn't recommend this place to even the most desperate.
I have so much to say that I have the entirety of this review attached as screenshots, because, yes, there is just that much that is atrocious about this property.

My experience living here was not the best. To begin the layout I saw online was different than what I received and they tried to get me to pay more for what was online. The layout online included a washer and dryer but that wasn't the case when I got in the unit and when I asked about they told me I'd have to pay more to move to an apartment with a W/D, they would reduce my rent for one month but still charge me a monthly W/D fee or move out. I had to negotiate to get a lower rent that matched the apartments with no W/D. I was being pressured to decide same day verbally and told that the person I spoke to was the property manager and she wasn't. I found out through emailing around and the actually property manger got back to me. I also wanted everything in writing and I had to go to the office and sit into front of the lady until she sent the email. I also had a rodent and mold issue which was only fixed about explaining I got an upper respiratory infection and asked to break my lease. The gym is nice and the trail but outside of that I don't recommend living there. The communication is poor and maintenance does not respond in a timely manner or they will marked they complete the task but actually didn't. I'm sad this was my experience as this was my first time living alone. Please look elsewhere to stay
