I've lived here for over a year and all I can really say is that this place... is mediocre at best. There are 2 areas for this complex, Hillside and Lakeside. Hillside is the pretty place with probably more modern appliances and amenities, while Lakeside is their older version with gray buildings, cracked concrete, and barely maintained porch lights and balconies. That's where I have lived for 14 months. I was aware of what I was getting into when I signed, and was disillusioned a bit when I was placed in Lakeside, but I was determined to try it out since this was my very first apartment. However, I will tell you that I had a lot of troubles when moving in and even living here. I moved in early because I was excited, and my apartment was dirty and grimy when I first came in with my mother. I asked the complex and maintenance as to why that was, and they said that it was because "they didn't have enough time to clean, so it looks like this". 1st red flag, but I dealt with it and cleaned the place myself. 2nd red flag, Pest Control. There is a pest problem on Lakeside (dunno if it's true for Hillside), and roaches are going to be your arch nemesis when you move here. I'm also regularly seeing rats and raccoons in the public dumpster multiple nights, digging through the trash. The geese and ducks are cool tho. To be honest, I don't know why we pay for Pest Control. I've only called them over once when I first moved in, and we just squeezed some roach jelly in a few places and called it a day. I could've done that MYSELF by buying a bottle at a Dollar Tree, so why should I pay $8 a month for a guy who does? Maintenance is fine. They take a bit getting to your place, but I think it's because they have to navigate mutliple complexes and they probably deal with many orders. If you feel that you're being overlooked, just send another request like 3 days after your 1st one and usually they'll contact you and send someone over. But the final red flag is moving out. My originally ending lease was scheduled for July 5th, 2026, but I got my new apartment on July 17th, so I asked them to extend the ending lease date to be August 5th instead. I even filled out an "Intent to Vacate" and everything, signed on May 28th, 2026. So when I went to go the Office a day or 2 ago to confirm everything was solid before I left, tell me why they told me that they THOUGHT that my lease ending on the original date and they ALREADY SOLD my apartment to another person. ...They even found the ORIGINAL DOCIMENT clearly stating that I intended to Move-Out on August 5th. But because they sold the apartment without checking my papers, or were negligent enough to misplace them, I am forced to move out nearly a month in advanced from my scheduled move-out date. Anyway, I'm glad that I've found another place to stay. This place was... an apartment, I'll say that much. The only good things I have to say is fhat the neighbors are decent or solid, the community is diverse, and the location is good. In terms of the actual units... it leaves much to be desired. Just make sure to do your due diligence when you check these places out, and be savy. Thanks.

I want to say that I’ve been staying @ The Legacy since 2022 and overall, I am extremely pleased with my experience. The warm and cozy feel of this environment has played a huge role in my evolution and transition into my next chapter of my life. I want to give a huge and special Shout of to Sonia…Who I believe play a huge role to The Legacy productivity and overall success. She has also played an important role in making it and extremely pleasurable place to stay and honestly played a huge role in making my decision to leave tough. Sonia is truly a light in anyone’s life that she meet. Thanks Again Sonia. You are amazing. You deserve the world.

Emily was absolutely wonderful throughout our apartment search. She was friendly, welcoming, professional, and incredibly patient from start to finish. She took the time to carefully explain the differences between each apartment and helped us understand the pros and cons of every option. What impressed us most was her dedication to finding the apartment that best fit our needs rather than simply showing available units. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping us make the right decision. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to find the perfect home for our family. Emily is truly the best leasing consultant we have ever worked with. She sets the standard for professionalism, customer service, and genuine care for residents. She made the entire process smooth, easy, and stress-free. If you are looking for a new home, Emily is exactly the kind of leasing consultant you hope to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Five stars are not enough!

I live in the property in Atlanta at the legacy At Druid hills. I don’t know what to do. I moved from Milwaukee Wisconsin and moved here on March 16th 2026. I was moved into a unit that wasn’t advertised and the worker at this complex was horrible and doesn’t represent the apartments correctly. I lived in that unit for a week and I had to move because the pipes were bad, I was on a basement, I didn’t have storage, or a dishwasher which was advertised! I had to pay $500 to switch units even though it wasn’t as advertised. Then I had to come out of $600 to move from hillside to lakeside. The management here doesn’t help at all and push my issues off. I was able to move into this apartment a week later. And everything was fine. This morning I went out to my balcony with my cat and when we were trying to get back in the house the door got stuck and as I was pushed on the door to get in, the door locked on us. I only had on a big shirt and socks. I had to rip off screen on my balcony because I was going to jump off to walk to the leasing office, but I was able to climb over through the storage area connecting with me and my neighbor. I had to bang at their door and luckily they were home. She let me in and I was able to walk out and walk to the leasing office. I had to walk 7 mins to the leasing office in socks and a large shirt. I made it to the leasing office asking to speak to a manager or someone. I was able to speak to someone and then I had to walk back to wait for someone to let me in and when he arrived with the key, we had to wait for maintenance to arrive to pry my door open. I have been living here for 2 months almost 3 and it’s been nothing but hell on earth. I’m thinking about contacting the BBB and a lawyer because I don’t want to live in anymore units by this company!!!!!!
