  Exercise caution when moving out of Citizen Apartments. My experience with the final move-out statement was extremely disappointing. Throughout my lease, I consistently paid my monthly water bill for a 400-square-foot apartment, averaging just $11.06 per month. However, my final move-out statement suddenly included a $302.17 water charge. I repeatedly asked management to provide documentation or an explanation supporting this amount, but no proof or response was ever provided. In total, my move-out charges came to $1,007.17, which was shocking given the size of the apartment and my payment history during the lease. If you're considering renting here, I strongly recommend carefully reviewing your final account statement and requesting supporting documentation for every charge. Be sure not to hang too many items on the walls and basically completely cover the carpet. I still don't know what stain on carpet they were referring to. Look at the evidence attached. My experience left me feeling that the move-out process was designed to generate additional revenue rather than fairly reconcile the account. It honestly felt less like a final utility bill and more like being charged an extra month's rent.

  I've been here for a year and just renewed my lease. Great apartment, great location and great management team. Don and Jay have always been quick to respond and resolve any issues I have, which have been minimal. I moved here from a house and was concerned about having shared walls, but this place has been a nice quiet community with everyone being respectful of their neighbors.

  Great location, new apartment, and Don and Jay were always incredibly prompt and professional whenever anything came up. They were more responsive than management at most places I’ve lived, and I really appreciated the community events too.
