  Living in Cambridge Apartments honestly took years off my life and I do not recommend anybody to even consider living here. The management at Cambridge is INCREDIBLY NEGLIGENT and should be ashamed of the condition of the complex and some of the units. One can wear a company polo shirt all they want to look professional, but this complex and its services and condition for the residents is anything but professional. They are lucky that I did not cancel my lease early. - Unit was roach infested to a significant degree and pest control, if they even show up, is ineffective. It is disgusting and impossible to overcome no matter how much cleaning. Required essentially quarantine my belongings before move out to prevent taking stragglers. I do not even want to put pictures here it was so nasty. - Unit was also infested by filth flies on and off. Management left an infested and disgusting neighboring unit's door wide open after a move-out cleanup, infesting my unit with hundreds of filth flies (had to call public health services). This door wouldve been left wide open and unlocked over night. Imagine this happening to your unit - The complex is full of trash, crack heads, potheads, and generally unfriendly people. People do not clean up after their dogs, and the landscaping is nonexistent. Probably the worst kept complex in East Athens - Complex is full of abandoned and not working vehicles. One of the entrances is so sloped that taking the turn at over 5 mph will destroy the front end of any short vehicle. - The laundry space is disgusting and half of the machines refuse to work properly, sometimes requiring several cycles - Many sewer back ups at random times requiring them to turn water off with little to no notice - Management and office staff is impossible to access by phone or email, and the office closes at random times during the day. I do not know what these guys do all day because no problems get solved - Did not have security deposit back within 30 days per Georgia Law

  Owen needs to be fired and reprimanded for his actions. My girlfriend’s apartment is constantly being broken into by maintenance even though on every work order it is noted to not enter unless let in. When this was brought to Owen’s attention he immediately dismissed us in a very aggressive way even after we told him that this morning the front door was found wide open after she got back from work. This place is absolutely ridiculous and it’s worse off that they allow someone like Owen to worsen things and ruin their reputation

  I have made application for 1bed room apartment and also paid the reservation along with application fees for me and my family. Once I get another housing confirmed I have cancelled the reservation. According to their policy, reservation fee will be paid back if anyone can't take the apartment. Its almost two months they don't work on that and said they don't have any documents of my payment. Its very illogical not having applicant's information and payment receipt in their server. Then I have emailed them the payment receipt and forwarded the payment confirmation email. After receiving my email they stopped contacting me! This is very disappointing and also unprofessionalism.

  Cambridge was a cozy apartment with professional staff. Maintenance requests were resolved in a very timely manner. The residents were quiet and nice. On-site gym was a huge plus for me. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend Cambridge if you are looking for a great apartment with great amenities and convenience in Athens, Cambridge is the one.
