  I'm not one to write reviews, this will be my first ever, but I'm writing it because I found myself heavily relying on reviews when I was searching for my next apt home so I feel it is important for others to have honest and fair reviews when trying to select a place to live. I've lived at Echo for about 3 months now. I'll start with the positives... 1) Shelby and Jaleah in the office are both super nice people 2) Maintenance responds quickly to repair requests 3) The community is safe and the inside hallways with locked access make me feel secure 4) Location is great- close to the highway but tucked back away from main roads- no real traffic to get to or from. Easy access to Alpharetta and Roswell. 5) The units themselves are nicely upgraded and aesthetic. They get a good amount of sunlight. My unit was clean at move in (the tub, the carpet, etc). 6) No bugs. I've had one silver fish and one earwig in my 3 months there. No roaches. 7) Residents are quiet for the most part (see below)- but no loud parties or loud music- complex is peaceful overall with the exception of the number 1 negative below. Now the negatives... 1) You are going to hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes. And yes, I know this is an apt and that is expected but this is another level. The floors are TERRIBLE! I have never lived in an apartment with such HORRIBLE sound insulation between you and the apartment above you. I swear my upstairs neighbor is going to fall through my ceiling at all times. Stomping doesn't even begin to describe the noise. It's more like constantly dropping something heavy and loud with every step. And all he or she is doing is walking. So totally not their fault. Unfortunately, my upstairs neighbor barely sleeps it seems... I hear it all day, I hear it until about 11-11:30 PM, at 3AM, and as early as 5AM. I have to have multiple sound machines running on max volume including one I wear in headband form in order to fall asleep (and I am a champion sleeper usually). I am so tired of having to sleep in an uncomfortable headphone headband in my own home in order to sleep. If you are going to live here, GET THE TOP FLOOR! 2) The hallways smell like hot trash at all times. I think they smell like rotting hotdogs trying to be covered up by excessive use of fabreeze plug ins. Your unit itself does not smell but the halls are disgusting. Part of the problem is that in order for your valet trash to be picked up, you have to leave the lid of your can open. In my last apt, the lids stayed closed when placed outside for pickup and there was no issue with smell. The other part of the problem is the carpets probably just need to be ripped up at this point. 3) The halls are not air conditioned or are air conditioned very poorly. Which contributes to the problem above most likely. This is advertised as an indoor climate-controlled complex but there is no climate control occurring. 4) I think I got ants in my car from parking in the parking lot of the complex. My car is extremely clean and I leave nothing in it and have never had ants until living here. I can't say with 100% certainty they were from this lot but given it's where my car is a vast majority of the time and it's the "new" factor in my life, I think they came from the pinestraw that landscapes the property. I was thankfully able to get rid of them but I'd recommend parking away from the pinestraw and trees if you move here. 5) The bottom floor by the resident entry point got flooded one day (I think the door had been left propped open by a resident and a storm came through to be fair- I don't think the door is actually leaky). But there were no fans placed to dry out the carpet. It was just left. Now that area smells like mold as does the stairwell between the 1st and 2nd floors. I avoid these areas. Prices will get as low as $1500 and as high as $1800+ for a 1 bed here. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $1500 ish price point for a 1 bed to live here given the pros and cons above.   We just got approved to live at Echo and are so excited to join the community. One of the main reasons that we picked Echo at North Point Center was the excellent customer service reviews that they have. After going through the leasing process, I am pleased to say that we have not been let down. The staff has been so attentive and intentional. Shelby, the business manager, has been exceptional , to say the least. We are looking forward to living at Echo and enjoying the apartment complex and area.

  I have been living here at Echo for 4 years and I must say I love this place. From the office staff, to the maintenance. I do not plan on moving out anytime soon. Thank you Echo for your constant dedication and kindness!
