  I am a new tenant who moved in on 3/6/26, and I have already noticed a serious and uncontrollable roach infestation. While the apartment complex does offer decent room sizes, the pest issue has made my experience extremely disappointing so far. I contacted the leasing office about the problem and was informed that pest control only services each apartment once every two weeks. Unfortunately, that schedule does not appear sufficient to address the severity of the infestation. No matter how clean you keep your apartment, the roaches continue to appear. Another concern is the lack of transparency before move-in. Prospective tenants are not allowed to view the actual unit they will be renting beforehand. Instead, they are only shown a model apartment. In my opinion, this can be misleading because the model unit does not accurately reflect the condition of the apartments tenants may actually receive. The model itself also appears outdated and has likely not been updated since around 2020. Additionally, the apartments do not include built-in lighting in the living room or bedrooms, which means tenants must purchase lamps just to properly light their living space. Overall, while the room sizes are decent, the pest issue and the inability to view the actual unit before signing a lease were major drawbacks. I would strongly encourage prospective renters to carefully consider these issues before deciding to lease here.

  My husband and I lived in Siesta Key for 9 years, until our landlord turned our annual rental into an Airbnb. We hated to leave, and I researched pretty much every apartment complex in the state of FL to find something we might be half as happy in. I read countless reviews, and kept coming back to Briarcrest. I'm so glad I did, because we moved here in April and we couldn't be happier! The buildings are older but very well maintained, the apartment itself (we have a 2 bedroom) is HUGE, and it's so much quieter than we expected! We almost never hear our neighbors, and as we both work from home that's a big deal for us. The staff is wonderful, maintenance is on top of everything, and if you need anything all you have to do is ask. They just redid all the laundry centers with new HE washers and dryers, and it seems like every time you turn around something is getting upgraded or improved in some way. We feel very safe here, and the location is awesome!! We are in the perfect hub- shopping right around the corner, Legoland down the street, and Lakeland or Orlando no more than 40 minutes away! You can't beat this place, especially for the price!! We are so grateful to call Briarcrest our home!!

  Lived there for 8 years. Never had a problem. Leasing office staff are always pleasant and helpful. Any requests for maintenance are taken care of same day or next. Esther and Laurie from leasing office are always a great help.....
