  I have been living at this community for almost a year, and unfortunately, the last several months have been extremely frustrating. Since June, I have been dealing with ongoing and excessive noise from the apartment above me. The stomping is so loud and forceful that I can actually feel my floors and walls vibrating from the impact. This is not occasional apartment noise, it happens consistently throughout the day, from early morning until late at night. There have also been repeated instances of doors and toilet seats being slammed, loud music, singing at the top of the resident’s lungs, and what sounds like someone playing a piano. What is especially upsetting is being awakened in the middle of the night. There have been multiple occasions where my daughter and I have been woken around 1:00 am, 2:00 am 4:00am etc. by excessive stomping and other loud noises. I have tried to be patient and polite, and I have made multiple complaints regarding this ongoing issue, but unfortunately, the situation has not been resolved. In fact, it feels as though it has gotten worse. For nearly $2,400+ a month in rent, I believe residents should reasonably be able to expect a peaceful and comfortable living environment, especially during nighttime hours. I should not have to constantly anticipate being awakened or have my home disturbed by excessive noise coming from the apartment above me. Unfortunately, the noise is not the only concern. Over the past several months, I have also noticed people who do not appear to live in the community regularly coming and going, strong “unpleasant” odors, parking issues, and vehicles belonging to non-residents taking up parking spaces. These issues have contributed to an overall decline in my experience and have made me question the sense of peace and security I expected when choosing this community. I have genuinely tried to be patient and reasonable throughout this situation, but I am now at my breaking point. Your home should be where you can relax, feel comfortable, and get a good night’s sleep not a place where you are constantly dealing with excessive noise and disturbances. I am very disappointed that repeated complaints have not resulted in a meaningful resolution. At this point, I am looking forward to my lease coming to an end.

  I’m not usually one to write reviews but I feel like my experince at Azola definitely deserves one. Definitely is not worth the $2400 that it costs me to live here. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on around you. Then there’s the issue with the gate. I’ve gone through 2 gate bar codes and none of them work. So every time I come home I’m having to buzz myself in at the call box. All of a sudden the call box is no longer working and I can no longer enter my complex without having to wait for someone to enter behind them. Azola said they have fixed the issue as I put in a service request and I still cannot get into the complex. Definitely look elsewhere first before looking at Azola. There’s definitely better.

  Scheduled a tour for 3pm, and drove 6 hours to get here this morning. When we got to the leasing office, the sign said out to lunch we will arrive back at 3pm…. We waited in the parking lot until 4pm before leaving. Doors locked, no one ever showed up. The absolute most absurd experience I’ve had apartment shopping. 1 star is too many. stay away.

  Would love to know about the property but no one bothered to show up to our tour. Drove up from fort lauderdale to see an "out to lunch sign" and no one answering the phone. Thanks for the hour drive each way and the waste of time.

  Erica is truly amazing—she’s always responsive and compassionate whenever I have questions or need assistance. The two maintenance men, who handle the entire complex on their own, also do a good job. However, my biggest issues stem from the way the apartments are designed and the parking policy. Despite paying $2,000+ a month, the parking is an unmonitored free-for-all. Residents can have as many guests as they want for however long they want as the property does not mange that, and people use the parking lot to store boats or unused vehicles, which quickly fills up. This causes you to park a building or two away from your actual assigned building. Now my apartment flooring is lifting in some areas—that’s a minor issue for me. A much bigger concern is that the windows and doors aren’t sealed properly. I’ve heard from neighbors that water and moisture seep in, and although I personally haven’t had that issue, I have had a serious problem with bugs getting inside my unit and my neighbors have had the same issue as well. I’m a very clean person—constantly doing laundry and tidying—so having ants and other pests is extremely distressing and noticeable to me. While the hallways have been repainted and cleaned, it’s hard to say how long that will last, since some residents don’t maintain the cleanliness by cleaning up after their dog which the mess would sit there for days, and the upkeep from management could use some improvement as it would not sit there for days if we had daily cleaning of the hallways like my old apartment complex. I highly urge the management to reevaluate the parking configuration and look into resealing windows and doors as well as having the hallways cleaned. I know the staff can only do so much so hopefully the upper management can step in and help make changes as I’m sure the staff is doing their best and exhausted at this point.
