  It is not just Verity- beware of all THOMSON THRIFT managed properties. I've rented dozens of times, and this has been BY FAR, the worst living situation I have ever experienced. If you have a business that relies on dependable internet (even using data), or if you're sensitive to noise/chemical scents/nervous system triggers, please read this first. Internet- I had constant internet outages, including the hardwire jack not working, despite being required to use their "smart" internet for $110/month. My phone's data didn't work in my apartment, so I couldn't even resort to that during the almost WEEKLY internet outages. I lost all but one of my clients while living there. Gate & security- The gate was broken for the first 6 months I lived there, despite being advertised as a gated property. Trash valet- Repeated missed pickups despite a mandatory $25/month fee. Scents and sounds- Thomson Thrift properties often pump toxic "signature" scents into the common areas, so I was unable to use the gym and other areas without headaches and sinus attacks. The cheap fire alarm in my apartment went off constantly for no reason- putting me into a panic attack due to my nervous system disorder, and stressing my cats as well. I also heard other apartment alarms going off throughout my living there as well. Total cost- With cat rent and bundle fees, I was paying around $2,500/month for services that were not delivered as promised. Management response- The property manager did her best, but when I escalated to the regional manager, Kati, to request early lease termination (without penalty) due to the compounding issues, I was largely dismissed and offered $300 — which did not come close to addressing the financial and emotional toll this has taken. I moved there with clients, no debt, and a large amount of money saved. Eight months later I left (May 2026), having constant anxiety attacks, in debt, one client left, and had to sell my car and move in with my parents at age 44.

  Highly recommend , the staff alone makes it a great experience. Maria has been extremely helpful with any questions I had. Quick to answer and getting things resolved in a timely manner. I happy to say I made the right decision on choosing the verity as my place of residence !
