  I was referred to Anthony by my lender, Cheryl, and unfortunately I would not use him again. Throughout this transaction, I often felt that the easiest solution for everyone else took priority over protecting my interests as the buyer. The financing and assistance issues became a major problem near closing, including the seller credit we had negotiated, and I expected my agent to be more proactive in questioning the situation and helping find solutions when it became clear the numbers were changing. Communication was also consistently frustrating. Getting timely responses was difficult, and there always seemed to be another appointment when something important needed attention. I also had poor experiences with the companies and professionals Anthony referred me to. Referrals are a big part of the value I expect from an experienced real estate agent, so having multiple disappointing experiences with people I was directed toward made an already stressful purchase significantly worse. The most disappointing issue was the condition of the house. Anthony told me he had the house cleaned, but when I received the property, it was clear to me that it had not been cleaned as represented. After everything else that happened during the transaction, that was particularly upsetting. Buying a home is probably the largest financial transaction most people will ever make, and I wanted an agent who would aggressively look out for my interests, communicate clearly, and verify things rather than simply move the transaction toward closing. That was not my experience.
