I have lived here for over 4 years now and I am disgusted and appalled at the level of incompetence when it comes to tenant’s money. And I think it is important to share our disappointing experience for people scouting an apartment complex.
Three of us moved here in January of 2022, each of us paying a $750 deposit as well as signing paperwork listing us as leasers. Flash forward to 2024, when one of us was moving out and needed to share proof of good rent paying history. Our roommate when down to the office and was told that they had not only LOST her paperwork and deposit, but mine as well. All that time, me and her were not listed as tenants and only my boyfriend was. Thank god that her new landlord took Venmo payments of proof of her payments. They literally threw our $1,500 away like garbage.
But wait! It only gets worse.
Over the course of us living here, the office has lost our rent money four times, three or which were found on someone’s else’s account. Except for the last time. This past month, April 2026, we paid our overpriced rent on time, like we ALWAYS have done. We come home a couple days later to find a letter on our door telling us that we did not pay rent. We think it’s like the other times. My boyfriend goes to the office and tells them that we in fact paid rent. The manager says that she will look into it. Come to find out, they officially lost our money. 2K of hard earned money. They tossed it like trash once again. What do we get? A lousy “sorry”. Over this last month, we went on a wild goose chase to get our money order refunded because of their incompetence with absolutely no help or sympathy from management. Today, my boyfriend went down to pay that rent and this month’s rent and asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience they have caused. I was appalled to hear that the associate at the desk, laughed in my boyfriend’s face and proceeded to immaturely argue with him about their incompetence. They took absolutely no accountability and even accused us of lying about this whole thing, saying they had no proof of us actually paying the rent. My boyfriend inquired about cameras, telling them to go back and watch. Apparently they don’t have cameras in their lobby? Sketchy considering the amount of money they’ve robbed us and probably other tenants of already. What does that tell me? That they don’t value their tenants or their hard earned money. And that is extremely concerning. I understand humans make mistakes and maybe it’s because if I make a mistake at my job, an animal could die; but this level of incompetence at a low stress job is unacceptable. You’re dealing with people’s incomes and you laugh in their face about losing them.
EDIT 5/4: They once again misapplied our rent this month. We then overheard a couple at the office venting about the same thing happening to them. Their level of incompetence with money is astounding.
Apart from that hellscape, let me confirm that every bad review under this establishment is 100% true. Rent goes up every year yet no new improvements. It’s dirty. Management never answers the phone and is more busy talking to their bestie about the wild night they had this past weekend in front of tenants. They refuse to fix broken equipment. Noisy neighbors are not death with. The gate only works 40% of the time. It smelt like rotting sewage for literally 2 months straight and no one did anything.
There’s probably more but I’ll stop there. We are looking to move on from this complex after our next lease is done. I want to make sure my money is in the right hands. And that’s definitely not a complex where they throw our money away like garbage. Extremely disappointing.
