On Thursday, April 16th, 2026, around 4:00 pm, at Vue South office I visited the establishment to check my mail. Taylor approached me and asked if there was anything she could assist me with. I informed her that I needed help but would first check my mail. Upon returning, I inquired about a $1,200 gift card that one of the staff members had offered me before signing my lease. Taylor investigated the system and discovered that the gift card was never included in the contract. She explained other details about the situation. She later learned I qualified for a 1 months free rent. I would like to note Taylor was very respectful, kind, and helpful. Displaying perfect customer service.

I don’t even know where to start. I don’t know what else to do, so maybe something will come of writing this.
I want to start off this review by saying that I know what it is like to be in a customer service position. I know what it’s like to be spoken over. That being said, I’ve never known what it’s like to be unempathetic and misunderstanding of the person on the other line.
I say this because in my multiple phone calls with Vue staff, I have been met with almost absolutely zero empathy and compassion when it comes to my constant maintenance issues. Everyone is very snippy, and doesn’t understand what it’s like to be in my position.
I will say absolutely one staff member has been kind to me and has shown that he is empathetic and that I was heard. His name is escaping me, and for that I apologise.
When I moved in my washing machine and dryer were broken. They were broken for about a month. A month! I had to wash and dry my clothes at friend’s apartments and laundromats, despite paying for in-unit laundry. This was the start of my frustration towards the Vue. At multiple points, the maintenance staff is proven to be, frankly, poor at their jobs. They came in to “fix” my washing machine almost three times. I say “fix” because 2/3 times they came to “fix” my washing machine, it broke immediately after. Keep in mind that since the Vue has a very understaffed maintenance team, it takes like 5 days for your work order to even be seen.
Earlier this month, the AC in my unit broke. Since we live in Florida, it gets extremely hot and humid outside, and without AC, it got extremely hot and humid in my apartment. I couldn’t live there comfortably. I basically lived at my boyfriend’s apartment for weeks.
Once again, they “fixed” it and the AC broke the day after. A week later, they “fixed” it again, this time, it worked for a week! Wow! A week where I can comfortably live in the apartment that I pay $800 a month for! Then, yesterday, the AC read that it was a boiling 77° in the apartment. After putting in a work order, I called the emergency maintenance team (as it will be 86° later today, and I was previously told that AC units being broken is only an emergency if it’s above 85°), and was instead told that it wasn’t currently an emergency and I should call back again at 2pm when it is above 85°. I replied, “It’s not an emergency that my AC has broken three times this month? And every time they’ve “fixed” it, it breaks immediately after? So clearly whatever the maintenance team is doing isn’t working.”
Harsh, I know. Rude, I know. I realise that I should be kinder on the phone, since this person can probably only do so much. But please, someone at the Vue please read this and understand my frustration. Please hear what I have to say. All I want to do is live in my apartment with no issues. Instead, in the three months of living here, it’s constant issues. I won’t get into the minutiae but trust me, there are multiple small grievances I have with this entire operation.
I’m at a complete loss, and not being able to securely stay at my apartment is greatly effecting my mental health.
