*******BEWARE********
The apartment that my nephew was supposed to move into yesterday is absolutely DISGUSTING and had a multitude of HORRIFYING conditions from drug paraphernalia to remnants of cockroaches and black mold and i've attached several pictures. This company should be ASHAMED of themselves. Do NOT send your children here unless you're able to look at the apartment with them. And go with them on moving day, to make sure that what they were offered is what they receive. I've also read several other reviews that have similar ratings. And i've noticed there's maintenance issues as well related to getting things fixed.
BEWARE!!!!!!!
We came excited to move our son into his new apartment. This apartment was supposed to be an upgrade from the last and the cost was more. We walked into the apartment and immediately saw that the kitchen was unusable. It had been involved in a fire and the cabinets, counter top and stove were all destroyed. The flooring in the kitchen and living room were bubbling and pulling off the floor. The furniture in the common area was water logged and destroyed. We noticed there was mold growing in the vents, on the floor boards and in the flooring near the air-conditioning. The balcony was unsafe, as the undercarriage was falling apart. Again, water damage. We were told the sprinkler system did not engage at the time of the fire, which we were told was in March. The oven and stove also hasn't worked since the fire. Again, there is too much damage for the water sprinklers not to engage. If the sprinklers did not engage, that is a concern, as the fire damage was extensive. We were told the fire started in the microwave, which looks new. The water sprinkler looks new. We did not move our son in, as there are serious safety concerns. We asked to have him moved and were told we can't do anything until Monday. We also were told they were going to fix everything and only needed four hours to fix it. I'm concerned as nothing was done since the fire and now they are fixing it in four hours. If we would have known this was the condition we would be moving in, we would have pulled out of the lease. Now I'm having to connect with a lawyer to see what our legal rights are. I'm amazed that each unit wasn't inspected before move in date. While in the office, I met other parents, who showed me pictures of severe damages to their units. Falling ceilings and mold. I'm hoping a miracle happens and the apartment becomes safe to live in, in four hours, but I'm not hopeful. I'm also not hopeful that there will be any other habitable units available for my son to move to.
Lies, shitty customer service, empty promises, disgusting units all available at no extra cost to you!
Absolutely disgusting, unlivable conditions like black mold, roach infestation, walls are falling apart. The most unprofessional and unhelpful people. Don’t sign here it’s absolutely horrible all around. Truly disgusted by the place and employees!
Absolutely filthy live bug infested mold smelling unit! The unit does not remotely look like the model they allow you to tour. AC not operating properly. Set to 60° and reading 83°! There is no amount of cleaning and repair that can get this unit livable. Leading manager Gavin of no help. Admitted to not having even seen the unit. How can you allow people to move in and not be assured that it is livable. Manager whom I spoke to afterwards was rude and once it was obvious that we would no longer allow our daughter to move in quickly cut the conversation off, stated our lease was terminated, and we could remove the items we had moved in and return the keys. No apology. Do you realize there are 4 people who are being impacted by your disgraceful actions? I would urge people to look elsewhere. If this is how they are during the best of circumstances I would not want to see what they are like under the worst of circumstances. This apartment would be shut down and likely others by the Tampa Health Department if they were made aware. They are only refunding the months rent. We are out all of the fees paid and more importantly do not have an apartment for our daughter to move into.
