I’ve really enjoyed living at The Henry, and I wanted to give a shoutout to Marissa and the management team. I was transferring to another apartment in the building and was facing a gap of almost three weeks between units. As an international student, finding temporary housing would’ve been a huge hassle. Marissa worked with me and helped make the transition much smoother than I expected. I really appreciate all the help and communication throughout the process. It’s nice to live somewhere where the staff genuinely care and are willing to help when things get complicated. Thanks again!

After living at The Henry for three years, I can honestly say this is by far the worst living experience I have ever had. If you’re an incoming freshman reading this, do yourself a favor and look somewhere else before signing a lease. The Henry advertises itself as a luxury student housing complex, but there is absolutely nothing luxurious about it. The apartments are overpriced, poorly maintained, and nowhere near worth what they charge. The property is constantly dirty, and the smell in the hallways and trash areas can be unbearable. It often feels like basic cleanliness and upkeep are not priorities here. Management is a complete disaster. During my time here, management has changed multiple times, and every new team somehow manages to be worse than the last. Problems rarely get resolved in a reasonable timeframe. To put it into perspective, I waited an entire year just to have my door lock replaced. A full year. The front desk is equally frustrating. Instead of helping residents, many interactions feel like you’re being talked down to or brushed off. Getting a simple issue resolved often turns into a battle, and accountability seems nonexistent. The amenities are terrible. The gym is tiny, overcrowded, and lacks quality equipment. The HVAC system is unreliable. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable, the couches feel cheap and worn out, and the apartments generally look and feel like they were built as cheaply as possible. The elevators are constantly breaking down. Expect outages on a regular basis. I’ve seen elevators left dirty for extended periods, including occasions where vomit was sitting inside. The parking garage is another nightmare—poorly designed, inconvenient, and frustrating to use on a daily basis. The only thing people might point to as a positive is the pool, and even that isn’t enough to make up for everything else that’s wrong with this place. What says the most about this place is the attitude of the residents. Most people I know aren’t sad about leaving—they’re counting down the days until their lease ends. Conversations about moving out are usually filled with relief, not disappointment. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. The biggest problem is that The Henry sells a completely different image than what residents actually experience. The marketing makes it seem like you’re moving into the premier student housing community near campus. The reality is overpriced rent, poor management, slow maintenance, dirty common areas, broken amenities, and constant frustration. If I could go back and choose somewhere else, I would. Incoming freshmen: don’t get fooled by the marketing, the tours, or the pictures online. Read the reviews, talk to current residents, and save yourself the headache. Three years here was more than enough for me to know that this place is nowhere near what it claims to be. The day I move out will honestly be one of the happiest days of my college experience.

After living here for three years, I can confidently say that you do not want to live here. The amenities are disappointing, the apartments are overpriced for what you actually get, and the property is consistently dirty and poorly maintained. The pool is probably the only decent feature, and even that is questionable at times. Management is one of the biggest issues. In the three years I’ve lived here, management has changed multiple times, and somehow each change has made things worse. The HVAC system is unreliable, the gym is tiny and lacks quality equipment, the beds are incredibly uncomfortable, and the couches are cheap and worn out. Overall, the quality of the apartments and facilities falls far below what is advertised. The Henry markets itself as the best and most luxurious student housing option, but that has not been my experience at all. To all incoming residents, good luck. Sooner or later, you’ll realize this is probably one of the most honest reviews you’ll find—assuming they don’t delete it.

Frat house or “high end” student housing? If you’re okay with missing packages, rude and unhelpful front desk staff, constant loud music, paper-thin walls, and bugs, this might be the place for you. Security is supposed to be monitoring the front lobby at night, but most nights no one is there, which feels unsafe. The front desk hours are also extremely limited and inconvenient. The hallways often smell like garbage because the trash rooms are constantly overflowing, and I’ve seen vomit and trash left in elevators and hallways. Maintenance requests are slow or completely ignored. On top of that, they add hidden fees (like charging for a “larger room” or “better view”) that I never asked for. The parking garage feels dangerous with cars speeding through it and nearly hitting other vehicles, and the pool is always overcrowded with nowhere to sit. Overall, you pay way too much for what you get and you can easily find better and cheaper options in the area. Definitely not worth the price!!
