  I lived at Seven Lakes for TWO YEARS, and let me just say… I am SO, SO, SO disappointed with these apartments. Honestly, I’m just glad I finally got out of that horrible place.When I first moved into Seven Lakes, it was actually a great place to live. Unfortunately, once management started changing and some of the leasing staff who actually seemed to care started leaving, the property went downhill FAST. It honestly felt like management decided, “Eh, good enough,” and just stopped caring about the residents. Let’s start with the Trash. There is trash EVERYWHERE. Neighbors constantly leave garbage outside of their bins, and apparently nobody thinks this is a problem. There are squirrels all over the property that will tear open the bags, so you can imagine what the community looks like afterward. You would think management would actually do something about it, but apparently that’s asking for too much.Then there’s the **dog poop**. People don't pick up after their dogs. At this point, you basically have to watch where you step while walking around the property. It’s an apartment complex, not a dog park .And then there was the **laundry room experience**. One night, we went to the laundry room to wash clothes and there was literally a homeless man in there rolling up weed. I’m sorry, but WHAT?! At that point, you really have to ask yourself what exactly is going on around here. The **leasing office** became another headache after the management change. The staff often seemed more interested in being on their phones than actually helping residents. You would walk in with a question and sometimes get the impression that you were interrupting them… while they were literally on the clock. I’m not expecting VIP treatment, but basic customer service would be nice. And let's talk about **maintenance**, because this deserves its own section. My A/C unit repeatedly broke down — and I mean REPEATEDLY. I had to contact maintenance multiple times because the A/C kept failing, including during the middle of a Florida summer when you absolutely NEED A/C. The most frustrating part was that it would get “fixed,” only for the same problem to happen again. It became a cycle: **A/C breaks → submit maintenance request → someone comes out → “It’s working now” → A/C breaks again a few weeks later.** That is not a permanent fix. That is a Band-Aid. And this wasn't some one-time issue. It kept happening practically once a month. Imagine paying rent every month and having to repeatedly chase maintenance because your A/C can't make it through the summer. The **gym** also seemed to constantly have some type of issue. Something is broken, something isn't working, or something is unavailable. Again, it just gives the impression that nobody is actually staying on top of the property. Even the **resident events** changed for the worse. When I first moved in, they used to have events after 5 PM, which actually made sense because people WORK. Then the events started being scheduled around 3–4 PM during normal working hours. Like… who exactly is supposed to attend these events? 😂 If 80% of your residents are working during those hours, congratulations, you just planned an event that most residents can't attend. Overall, everything at Seven Lakes feels like a **Band-Aid fix**. Something breaks? Patch it up. Resident complains? Do the bare minimum. Something needs maintenance? Make it look like it's fixed until the complaint goes away. I genuinely regret renewing my lease the first time. That was my mistake, and I definitely learned my lesson. The second time around, I made sure I was OUT. If you're considering moving here, **PLEASE save your money, your time, and your peace of mind and look somewhere else.** There are plenty of other apartments where you can pay rent without feeling like you're constantly fighting management to get basic things taken care of. And to the new management: maybe stop putting Band-Aids on problems and actually FIX them. Your residents are paying good money to live there.

  Started off decent. Management became worse. Neighbors are terrible. Not picking up after their dogs. Old man has set up a mechanic shop in the parking lot taking up space and making a mess. Overpriced for what you get. My washer and dryer was in my bedroom closet. Different colored kitchen cabinets. Walk through the complex around the lakes. Look around. Every buildings electrical wires are popped out of its container. Gutters on the floor or pointed directly at the foundation. Motorcycles parked at the unit door. Dumpsters are overflowing with trash. Run far from this place

  do not recommend this place. lived here for two years in two different apartments. the second apartment i lived in was infested with rats in the building. (in the gutters and walls) they would eat through the trash bag we leave outside our door. We thought it was just squirrels at first. Which was part of it. But the window in our bedroom is right in front of the door where the trash can is. We would see 5-8 rats sitting on our welcome mat, eat through the trash, and sitting on too of the ledge of the stairs. MULTIPLE times. We told the office the next morning the first time we seen them at night. They had a “exterminator” come inside our apartment 4 days later.( I am guessing they thought we said it was inside our apartment??) We told the guy they have been on the front porch in front of our door snd neighbors door. Also eating the neighbors trash as well. (Not even just that but sitting on the ledge and on the welcome mats its just DISGUSTING) The “exterminator” said he would be back but he has to grab rat traps. He never came back. We went back the office that day. Told the lady she said he has to do a inspection first. She said she would call su the next day after the inspection is done and give us a update. Never did. We called off of both our phones MULTIPLE times. Like literally 60 times. No update. Nothing. Somebody even put a sign out by the pool near building 7 where we lived, and said (Please stop pooring grease in the grass rats keep coning). So this was definitely a issue not just in our huilding. We just moved out about 3 weeks ago and they billed us over 2 grand for what you may ask? NO CLUE. Cleaning fee was expected. DO NOT MOVE HERE. DEFINITELY not worth the price and your peace. WAYYY too expensive for what you get. The fees you pay dont even add up considering maintenance may or may not even end up coning to fix something. And “pest control” fee is BS. The wasps will make MULTIPLE nests everywhere on your door (literally) at the top of your door. Under the stairs EVERYWHERE and they do NOTHING. Our kitchen sink literally fell and flooded the kitchen. The dishwasher broke, The cloest Shelf broke, Wash and dryer broke. Door lock broke. Please save your money and live somewhere else. For a cheaper price like 1200 a month maybe ok. but for 1600+ its not worth it.

  I lived here for a decade, moved in 08/2015, back when it was called Heron Cove, and moved out in 10/2025. The only good thing about this complex is the location. There were many changes in management and office staff, so it has definitely gone downhill. The amenities that you are charged for are not great; this place just is not worth the price. The most frustrating thing is the office staff; they are unpleasant, unhelpful, aloof, and they simply do not care. I should have moved out sooner and would not recommend.

  I’ve been living here for about two months, and I’m very happy with my experience so far. Kanno was incredibly helpful from the beginning, he was responsive, efficient, and made the whole process very easy for me. He answered my questions quickly and helped me with everything I needed. The maintenance team has also been great. They respond quickly, are efficient, and take care of issues without any hassle. The community is clean, quiet, and peaceful, which I really appreciate. Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience and I’m very satisfied with my decision to live here. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a well-maintained and comfortable place to live.
