Beware! They will take $400 application fee from you and make you think you’re getting approved and then deny you after days of requesting more and more information and delaying the process.

I recently moved in and the leasing process was smooth, the few times I’ve needed maintenance have been efficient and quick and the views/natural sunlight can’t be beaten! In regard to past reviews regarding the internet, I’ve had zero issues and the connection has been smooth and fast! I work from home so I am using it all day.

I signed a lease to move here in April with a move in date of 7/15/26. On 6/23/26 I got a call from the property saying that they needed to push my move in date to 8/5/26. Almost 3 weeks later and let me know 3 weeks prior. They said it’s because they’ve allowed the previous tenant to extend their move out date a few weeks and per the leasing agents word on the phone “we prioritize our current residents over incoming residents”. I’m moving from out of state to Tampa, no family, no friends to stay with for this period. I have to be out of my apartment now by 7/18/26 as I put in my 60 day notice when I signed for my move in date at Element. They offered no vacant unit for me to stay in, after I complained about this they tried to offer me $500 in credit to pay for temporary living but $500 gets you nowhere needing 3 weeks worth of stay. They offered me another floor plan style to move into but it was smaller than the unit I signed for, had less features, and more expensive monthly and NO. They would not price match what I signed my lease for.. I’ve never experienced something so unprofessional, unorganized, and unhelpful. I genuinely don’t understand how as an apartment community you allow a current tenant who’s moving out more priority over a tenant who’s moving in especially when there’s been a lease signed for months. I’m extremely disappointed, I was excited to move into this complex. I’m moving across the country for work and even a 2-3 weeks move in push back absolutely wrecks my job schedule and pre made plans. Thankfully, I read my lease and this circumstance allows me to break my contract with them. HUGE shoutout to the MAV complex for working with me given my situation to honor my move in date for the unit I needed, and for helping with concessions to lower my monthly rent since I was stuck signing another lease 3 weeks prior to move in (and everything is very expensive by now). Element is a beautiful complex, but with what I just experienced with management I’m grateful to have dodged a huge bullet. Hopefully when you read this you will too because they don’t care.

Quote is not matching with the price they offer during the tour!💸💰 Lease staff act like they are going to pay you not you are going to pay rent!🙄 Slow Elevator!😐 Trash smell !🤢 Hidden charges 😏
