  I have only lived here for a couple of months. The first day I moved in I had no a/c it took them 5 days to fix it. They brought me a portable a/c unit that could only go into one of the bedrooms. A month later it quit working again. It took them 12 days (from 9/5 to 9/16) to fix it. I called the emergency line for the a/c. I put a work order in the next day as I was instructed to do by maintenance they still did not come to fix it. I called and called them it got to the weekend and was told I by maintenance that I would have to wait until Monday until they could call someone to come look at it. Monday came and it still was not fixed. I called again they told me they would have maintenance call me or stop over. They never did. The following day I called and again and all the kept saying was maintenance left and they would have them call me the next day. I argued with them and told them it needed fixed that night. I had to stay with my daughter because it was 85 degrees in my apt. Yes they brought a portable ac unit but again it could only be in the bedroom. I even called Robbins Management and left a message with my name, number and told them about the a/c and I never got a call back. If u want to rent from them then carefully decide how long you want your lease to be because being stuck for 1 year in an apartment that you can’t stay in and pay over $2,000 a month for is just throwing your money in the trash.

  I have been a resident for a year and renewing my lease again. I will say it has improved from the beginning of my first year here. I feel safe and love the nature and wild life we have and how the employees and residents care for them as well. Friendly staff. I do want to add that maintenance has been great and Monay has been wonderful and she is so pleasant I have worked with her from the beginning. However, The other employees/ staff are amazing and just as nice to see them smiling (: shows how management has improved and is doing a good job for everyone.

  Raised rent $200 and I’ve had mold in my wall reported from 1.5 months ago. Nothing done. Joke. Little to no effort put into making sure maintenance is upheld. I have had 3 work orders in for 1.5 months 2 regarding mold.

  We just moved out of Trellis at the Lakes after 13 months and I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like this in our 10 years of renting. In August there was a sewage leak. Human feces, pee, and toilet paper were left on the side of the building near the AC units for almost 4 weeks. We called multiple times, begged them to address it, and nothing happened. It wasn’t until I printed out photos and physically brought them into the leasing office that someone finally did something. Leaving human waste sitting outside where tenants have to walk is a disgusting biohazard. The fact that it took that long to get addressed says a lot about how little they care about their tenants. There is a HUGE disconnect between Maintenance and the leasing office. Miscommunications and maintenance requests not being responded to in a timely manner, if at all, were a constant issue. The apartments are older, so things are breaking down A LOT, but the way these issues are handled makes everything so much worse. Our AC broke 6 times this summer alone. We had maintenance come out multiple times, and one of the last guys who came out told us the previous guys had put too much coolant in it and made the problem worse. It broke down so much it was a joke. There is also a mold issue. If you are touring, CHECK THE AC VENTS. We had dark brown/black mold in ours and had to beg them to fix it. 4 months later, It came back again, and the last I knew, it was still there even after we brought it to the leasing office’s attention. And every time it rains, the sidewalks flood, especially on the back side of the buildings. We’re talking about having to walk through several inches of water or mud just to get around. I have ruined multiple pairs of shoes because of this, and there were times I had to take my shoes off and walk barefoot through the mud. ALL of these issues were brought to the office’s attention. We felt extremely unheard and disrespected throughout our time here. We have rented for 10 years and have never had an experience like this. If you are considering moving here, please think twice and pay close attention when touring. The apartments may look fine at first, but the way maintenance and serious tenant concerns are handled is unacceptable. At 2k a month, you’re better off just renting a house in this current rental market. 0/5. Would not recommend at all.
