  If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I DID NOT MOVE IN HERE, and THANK GOD I didn’t. I took a tour as I was moving in from out of the area. I read the previous reviews and I begrudgingly took the tour anyways in case the place I wanted didn’t go through in time. The office seemed okay at, but that’s where everything stops. I was never shown an actual unit, but I was shown models. I asked repeatedly to be shown actual units and I was redirected every time. Additionally, none of the keys that Nadine had worked, and she had to have maintenance open model doors for her, but she couldn’t shut them all the way as she had another tour after me. This was the first strike. The pool area, and community spaces looked outdated dirty, and generally unkept. Almost like a pig with make-up on. In addition on the tour there was abundance of trash all over the outside of the building, which made me very concerned as I do not want to deal with roaches or other vermin that will find their way into it. This was the second and third strike. The straw which drove me to make this review is that Nadine, the person I was working, with assured me that my $275 application fee would be waived if I applied that day. I made it abundantly clear that I’ve applied to a few other places, with waived applications fees, and if they were to accept me, I’d compare them and make the best choice. Thank god I didn’t move in here. A few months later I start getting calls and texts telling me I’m “late on rent” and to make a payment to this place. I’m confused so I called… no answer, I left a voice message. Thinking it might have been an error as I explained over the phone in the voicemail. A few weeks later the same thing I get spammed with calls and texts telling me the I’m “overdue on payment”, so I’m calling relentlessly and leaving voicemails and sending emails, and I’m not getting responded to. I do not have the flexibility to leave work in the middle of the day to talk to them face-to-face before they close. So calls and emails are best for taking care of immediate home things. I even go to the link provided that I don’t have an account or a lease with them as I communicated to Nadine, that I chose somewhere else. She understood and said she would clear my application. A few months later I start getting calls from random out of state number and emails. I actually opened one of the random emails, and these people sent me to collections for $275. They are scammers, and by the looks of these comments it seems to be fairly in par with my experience. I hope if there is anyone in the fence that they keep looking.

  The experience here has been very disappointing. When we first toured here we were told we were moving in to the most recently upgraded floor plan only to move into an apartment that hasn't been renovated for years. Any concerns that needed to be addressed would be ignored through email/phone call and the only way you'd get something done is if you would walk into the office ask directly. Our apartment wasn't cleaned at all and needed to hire a cleaning service due to the lack of response from the office. Parking has gotten worse every month where all of the spots are filled before 7pm. We were given parking stickers months ago, but there's no action being done about monitoring cars that don't live here. Racoons are everywhere here.. doesn't matter if its day/night they're roaming everywhere. Our power has been turned off a few times from management where when asked they didn't know why, construction downstairs where we cannot even stay at home to work. The only good reviews left is the maintenance team doing a good job. This apartment complex has to do better. For people moving to a new location, they're looking for a fresh start and cannot have this type of service for the community. I hope management takes this seriously and make the improvements for future residents.

  Our experience at Promenade at Carillon was extremely disappointing. Communication was poor from the beginning- our move-in date was delayed without notifying us (we had to find out from logging into the portal). And we have had many unanswered emails and calls with them, when trying to address our concerns. We were actually told we would be receiving an upgraded apartment "just like the model unit", and when we got our keys, we realized that was not true at all. (Maintenance confirmed it had not been updated in 5 years). The leasing manager never replied at all about this concern. When we finally gained access to the apartment, we found numerous issues that should have been addressed before move-in, including significant cleanliness concerns. We ended up paying out of pocket for a professional cleaning service, which reported layers of grime on baseboards, cabinets, and the patio that appeared to have been overlooked entirely. We also encountered food debris around the property, ongoing trash issues, raccoon activity (which has been nonstop), and terrible smells outside our building. We have about 10+ videos of the raccoons digging into our neighbors trash, because it has been left outside. Also, the pool is disgusting, and has a layer of bugs just constantly on the surface. And maintenance has been telling us they'll replace our microwave for about 9 months now. And, our next door neighbor had a forensic unit come to his home, so we can only imagine he has committed some kind of crime. Along with the upstairs neighbors scream-fight from about 6pm-10pm daily, which the leasing office was notified of. For the rent being charged, we expected a clean, well-prepared apartment and professional communication from management. Instead, what should have been an exciting move became a stressful and frustrating experience. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements for future residents.
