- BCBecky Collier6 days ago5.0Pros: - Great location, super walkable to edge, grand central and even downtown. Really nice to not have to worry about parking or bathrooms for the central Ave festivals (pride, halloween, mezzo market) - Really responsive management (shoutout to Eric who works really hard to make sure residents have a good experience!) - Good amenities - gym, espresso machine, pool, fire pit - Nice touches - bagels every Friday and Pizza nights nights Cons: - Some residents are really inconsiderate - letting their dogs pee in the hallways and not cleaning it up, speeding through the garage like it’s Nascar, leaving stinky trash bags in the hallways, loud pool parties until late night - There is a growing encampment under the overpass right next to the building. I never had a problem with anyone directly but there were often people screaming delusional rants right outside our first floor window. I will definitely miss living here!

Recently, William came to fix our A/C and he was quick, friendly and very knowledgeable. We have lived here for almost 2 years and have had no issues and have met so many nice people. Highly recommend 1701 if you are looking to live on Central!

They went above and beyond to kindly assist us and make our experience smooth. Erin and Yara are amazing!! The location is amazing- super convenient to walk to anything in downtown, or take the Sun Runner to the beach from a stop nearby. The units are beautifully designed with great appliances, large cabinets, and smart storage features built-in to help even a small space feel like plenty. The community is clean, secure, and well-maintained. The neighbors are overall quiet and friendly. The parking situation is much better than comparable communities in the area, with safe, covered parking at a very reasonable rate. The amenities like the barista/espresso machine, bike rentals, pool, grills, gym, bagels on Fridays :) and package locker are icing on the cake. After submitting a maintenance request for a repair, William responded quickly and was kind, knowledgeable, and explained things thoroughly to us. The community is in good hands with his expertise- Thank you! Ultimately, this community is a hidden gem and I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
