Beautiful property, however as of June 2026, management has turned dozens and dozens of the units into fully furnished AirBnBs with minimum 2 night stay because of their difficulty renting the units out. I certainly did not anticipate living in an apartment surrounded by short term rentals. Such a bummer. If you have ever lived in a short term rental community you know the downfalls. Amplify those downfalls when you share walls, ceilings, floors, elevators, pool, gym etc. Beware because the leasing office will likely not advertise that they turned dozens of the units into short term rentals, and will not tell you which units are included in their short term rental program. Paying a premium price to share walls with short term rentals is a hard pill to swallow.

I waited 4 months to post a review so I could offer a little perspective and found Saltaire is a fantastic place to live. My husband and I sold our house and decided apartment life was the way to do retirement, and we haven’t been disappointed! The staff is great; they’re friendly and helpful - we haven’t had a negative interaction with anyone. If something needs attention/repair, Mike and Will are quick to help out. The grounds and our unit are beautiful. Day and night the place is gorgeous. Our unit gets tons of natural light thanks to the big windows, and with the high ceilings it feels much bigger than 1100 sq ft. My husband and I walk the path around the pond daily, and we always feel like we’re living in a resort. But our favorite part just might be the location. We can easily bike to the beach or to lunch in one of several restaurants in Gulf Place. If we’re feeling ambitious, 30a is completely bikeable in both directions thanks to the Timpoochee Trail that runs alongside it. All in all, we’re very happy we made the move to Saltaire.

I have not lived very long at Saltaire but my impression has been BIG! I have met residents that were the first to move in here and they agree with me. When you first open the leasing office you are greeted by Amaya, a girl with a beautiful smile. She is always at the ready to help with anything you need. Madison was our leasing agent and she was just amazing. She is always happy to help with any questions you may have regarding the application or your move in. Madison is the reason we moved here. She goes above and beyond to accommodate. Now, there is Dawn, the head of everything. She keeps her door open and always welcomes you to come in. She makes sure all are happy and the property stays tip top. Mike and Will help repair anything you need. They are timely, polite and make sure everything is running smoothly inside and out of the property. Miss Shara is another bonus to the team. She keeps all common areas including the move ins perfect.
Your apartment and every other area will be smelling fresh. There is a common respect amongst the residents. A beautiful pool, gathering and dining areas. We have a beautiful walking area around the complex, a dog park separated for littles and big dogs with play areas designed for both. The people that live here are kind, helpful, and turn into friends. I give Saltaire ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars because it deserves it! Come on by and see what I mean!

I was one of the first tenants to move into Saltaire Apartments, and after living here, I would strongly discourage anyone looking for a “luxury apartment” experience from renting here.
The biggest issue is the management and upkeep of the property. The grounds have been poorly maintained for months — overflowing trash cans, dog waste throughout the property, and inconsistent lawn maintenance. Residents are charged for services like lawn care and pest control, yet those services often appear neglected or nonexistent.
Management selectively enforces rules depending on who is complaining. Residents are restricted over minor things, while larger issues throughout the community are ignored. Amenities are frequently used by non-residents, and security/enforcement feels almost nonexistent.
The maintenance staff spends more time driving around in golf carts than addressing resident concerns, and getting real issues resolved is frustratingly difficult. Communication from management is disorganized, especially regarding garage and storage rentals. Multiple residents have openly discussed inconsistencies with leased spaces and billing.
Another major concern is the tenant screening and overall decline in the community atmosphere. Police are regularly called to the property, and many long-term paying residents have chosen to leave because management seems more interested in filling units than maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
The most disappointing part is that Saltaire markets itself as a luxury community, but the reality falls far short. If you are relocating, building a home, or looking for a peaceful apartment experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
elevator never works , the wifi that comes with the apartment never works , the amount of rules and how RESTRICTING they are is unreasonable , you should not be evicting people and putting them out of homes for the reasons you are .
