Henry – Honest Review
I have a lot to say about this apartment complex, so here it goes.
I moved in on March 7, 2025, into what seemed like a beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment. At first glance, everything looked great—brand new carpet, clean, fresh smell, and modern features. What really sold me was the built-in Alexa and sound system.
Fast forward about six months…that’s when the issues started.
The Alexa system broke, was fixed once, and then stopped working again. After that, we just gave up on it. Then came the bugs—spiders at first, then more and more of them. During rainy season, we dealt with a major ant infestation. I’m talking about a full colony coming in through the back patio and under the doors. On top of that, we started seeing silverfish. We put in work orders, and while the ants eventually went away after using our own sprays and traps, the silverfish kept coming back.
That leads to one of the biggest frustrations: maintenance. Everything is just another work order, but it doesn’t always solve the problem long-term.
Trash service is another issue. Pickup was inconsistent and rarely within the time window provided. Sometimes trash wouldn’t be picked up until as late as 3 a.m., yet if your bin was left out past 9 a.m., you’d get fined—no warning, no notice. Meanwhile, staff would come around taking pictures of bins and placing notices on doors shortly after. If it weren’t for our Ring camera, we probably would’ve been charged even more fees. Definitely recommend having one if you live here.
Now let’s talk about cooking—be prepared for the fire alarms. They are extremely sensitive. Toasting a bagel? Alarm. Baking? Alarm. Air fryer for a few minutes? Alarm. Maintenance basically told us, “They’re just sensitive.” We ended up taking one down just to manage it. Every time we cooked, we had to turn on the microwave fan, ceiling fan, and open doors and windows. Late-night snacks were basically impossible without setting everything off.
Noise is another big factor. I know apartments aren’t soundproof, but here you hear everything. Footsteps from above and below, especially if neighbors are heavy walkers. If there’s a dog downstairs, every step can trigger barking—and then all the other dogs start too. It turns into constant noise. If neighbors play music, you’ll feel the bass throughout your entire apartment. And unfortunately, noise complaints don’t seem to be taken seriously.
Parking wasn’t a huge issue, but the speed bumps near the back gate caused problems. They were placed so close to the gate that people would hit it, and the gate would constantly break. There were times it wouldn’t open at all, which is frustrating if you’re in a hurry.
We signed a 15-month lease because it was slightly cheaper and came with one month free plus a $500 gift card—which was nice—but honestly, I regret signing for that long. For the price, it just wasn’t worth it.
Overall, the place looks nice on the surface, but the experience didn’t match the price. I’m just glad to be out.
If you’re considering living here, take your time and really explore all your options before signing.
Over all old management really sucked and put us through it then fast forward to when we move out management felt it was fit charging abt 800$ worth of damages that happened before we even moved in
We have picture and video proof of the day we moved in of damages that we wrote down on the list they gave us to fill out. Then they said oh sorry we lost you’re inspection check list once asked about it and a bunch of bull about new management and how we have to pay the fee because something abt new managing partners
So good luck residents and future residents I hopes you don’t experience that we have the last 15 months😑
