Very nice and welcoming staff! Mariel has been super kind and helpful throughout our time here. The apartments are beautiful, spacious, and have plenty of storage. The pool and clubhouse are also well-maintained and beautiful spaces. Overall, it’s been a great experience here.

I was seriously considering leasing an apartment at The Junction because a coworker of mine lives there, so I drove through the complex to check it out. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. I noticed several dead trees, trash cans with garbage sitting out, and even a broken-down car with someone working on it in the parking lot. For a newer complex, it didn’t appear to be as well maintained as I would have expected. My coworker also mentioned that while the maintenance staff seems to work very hard, management has changed and the complex hasn’t been kept up the way it used to be. She also shared concerns about an ongoing bug issue.(Bugs at her door and ants entering her home) Based on what I personally saw and what I heard from my coworker, I’ve decided to pass. It’s a shame because it’s such a new complex and seems like it has a lot of potential.

8.5/10 I've only lived at The Junction for a little over a month so far, so this review reflects my initial experience. I'll update it closer to the end of my lease to reflect my long-term experience I'm especially grateful to Kristi and Mariel for facilitating a smooth move-in and quickly addressing any early questions or maintenance needs. The lease special offered incredible value and felt hard to beat compared with other apartments in the area. Maintenance staff is also prompt in addressing issues in my brief time here so far. The units are brand new and equipped with smart technology that allows you to remotely control your door lock, lights, and A/C from your phone. Every unit also includes a screened patio, which has been a nice feature. There are plenty of grills throughout the community with outdoor seating and fireplaces. The gym and other amenities are new, clean, and high quality. The complimentary coffee is a nice bonus as well. ---------------------------------------- Things that could be improved: One of my hesitations before moving in was the managed Wi-Fi system, since I'd never lived somewhere that used one. During my tour, I was told the network supported speeds up to 2 Gbps. In my experience over Wi-Fi, my devices typically see around 250–320 Mbps. Those speeds have been for the most part more than sufficient for work, video streaming/meetings, but I've noticed a few lapses. My Alexa device has had issues connecting to the internet at times, and I've had lapses in connection on zoom meetings at times. The speeds are lower than I expected based on what was advertised. It's possible there's a per-device speed limit or another aspect of the managed network that explains the difference. I also agree with some previous reviewers regarding the sound insulation not being great and parking. The A/C makes really noticeable sounds when cooling down. The parking outside my building is usually full or nearly full after about 8–9 PM. So far, I've always been able to find a spot reasonably close to my unit, but the community was only around 55% occupied when I moved in. As occupancy increases, parking may become more challenging. It may be worth considering limits on the number of vehicles per lease or additional guest parking policies. ---------------------- Overall, I would definitely recommend The Junction. Nowhere is perfect, but the staff here are great and I'm happy with my experience here.

We moved in a year ago and loved the place. Sadly, we are now very frustrated with the parking situation. Renters looking beware. The unit above us isn’t even rented out and the parking lot by us is completely full. We parked in the same spot for a year even though it is first come first serve and now we fight daily to be next to the building we live in. Not far now, but the units are filling fast. Not to mention, a pain when bringing home groceries and it’s dumping rain. There is no limit to the amount of cars a unit can have and several sit without moving, this will become a problem soon. Several months after signing our lease they posted reserved signs, which were not mentioned prior. All the empty spots you see in my photos cost $50 a month to use. This is the only solution we were given when talking to the office. We pay a lot to live here parking should be included.

I rarely leave negative reviews but prospective residents deserve to know what living here has been like, many who have experienced the same have been unable to speak out on the matter. From the beginning, maintenance issues were constant. We dealt with improperly installed locks, an electric lock that gave out to which they replaced with a keyed lock and told me I needed to make my own copies, later the same front doorknob came off in my hand late at night, plumbing issues, terrible water pressure, constant burned-out light fixtures, pest issues and recurring maintenance requests that either weren't fixed correctly or were dismissed all together. At one point I was told to buy my own showerhead and maintenance would "install it for free" instead of addressing the issue because “all residents have problems out of these” Our air conditioning failed during a heat advisory in mid June while I was 6 months pregnant, leaving us relying on two portable AC units that made our electric bill skyrocket and repeatedly tripped the breaker still leaving the apartment unbearably hot and so humid my ceiling fans drooped. We came home everyday to an overheated apartment with our pets inside but despite this, the conditions dragged on for 12 days as we were told their AC tech couldn’t come out for two weeks. The most recent experience was when someone entered our apartment while I was showering. I put in a work order on July 6th for bugs (acrobats ants and booklice which both reside in decaying wood and feed on mold) maintenance came out the next day to spray yet on July 10th I still received a notification saying a work order had been put in, not by myself or my partner residing in the apartment and with no notice, four hours later had someone entering my apartment for the unknown work order. They left once they realized someone was upstairs but that doesn't change how unsettling it was to have someone walk into my home at random. The response by the regional manager regarding this felt more focused on explaining why it happened than acknowledging how unacceptable the experience was but then again I suppose that’s better than being ignored altogether by the team onsite. I have been questioning if my experience has been the minority due to the lack of bad reviews at this complex but Brevard is a small county, I have spoke with others who were able to break their lease penalty free but were only allowed to do so by signing an NDA. I have practically begged regional to let me do the same as I just want to live somewhere that is built securely, where I do not have to worry about my soon to be newborn suffering the same conditions my partner and I have while living here but they refused as they are having to grasp at straws to maintain their measly occupancy percentage. Communication throughout my lease has been consistently frustrating. Concerns were often minimized, responsibility was shifted, blame was placed on us for not being “accommodating” enough to maintenance aka not wanting to get off work early to be told there’s nothing they can do, I feel like I’ve had to fight just to have basic maintenance and safety issues taken seriously and I truly regret signing the lengthy lease. Everyone's experience may be different, but mine has been filled with stress, repeated maintenance problems, poor communication, being dismissed, and a lack of confidence that my safety and comfort are a priority. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this community to do their research before signing a lease with this corporation that owns the complex.
