  I scheduled an appointment on Sat (today) in response to an ad for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhome. Upon arrival, after driving over an hour, I was informed that the unit had been rented. I asked why someone didn't let us know and the response was that she could show us a 2 bedroom. The point I was trying to make is that I wasnt interested in anything but the specific unit that they sent to me and I responded to. I only wish they had communicated to me that the unit had been rented so that I wouldn't have wasted 2.5 to 3 hours of my Saturday driving to tour a unit that wasn't available.

  I contacted Altura because I was genuinely interested in one of their units and asked whether they would consider restructuring their advertised 10-week concession. I do want to mention Hannah specifically because she was very pleasant throughout the communication. She was courteous, responsive, professional, and handled the conversation extremely well. Even though we were not able to come to an agreement, my experience communicating with her was positive. Prospective residents should be aware that, at least in the structure presented to me, the advertised 10 weeks were not applied entirely upfront and were not spread evenly across the lease. Instead, the concession was structured as five weeks at the beginning and five weeks at the end. That arrangement may work perfectly well for some people, but it is worth understanding before assuming that “10 weeks free” means 10 weeks of immediate move-in relief. I asked whether the concession could be applied differently, such as more upfront or spread across the lease, but that was not an option in my situation. The property itself is attractive and the location is one of its strongest advantages. There are not many comparable higher-end apartment communities in the immediate Perdido Key area, so if that specific location is important to you, Altura definitely has value. One consideration is traffic, particularly during busier parts of the year. Access in and out of the area can become congested, so commute times may vary considerably depending on the season and time of day. Overall, Altura appears to be a very nice property in a desirable location, and Hannah was extremely pleasant to deal with. It ultimately was not the right fit for me, but I would simply recommend that prospective residents make sure they fully understand the concession structure and consider the traffic patterns before making a decision.

  It’s been nice living here knowing that the leasing office staff and maintenance crew have been wonderful. Had a leak in my shower and John from maintenance always showed up in a timely manner to get it repaired. Thanks Altura

  Moved in April 1st and I absolutely love it here! Kim & Savannah were super helpful and easy to work with. I love all the amentities Altura has to offer!
