  I’ve had a really great experience at Urban Blu Apartments! I’ve lived here for many years with my family and finally decided to move out on my own and so i stayed with this community. The community is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional, and they make you feel like they genuinely care about the residents.And they are very much always present. I also really appreciate how convenient the location is and how nice the amenities are. Urban Blu is a great place to live, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming apartment community!

  They call themselves the “Urban Blue Family,” but don’t let the name fool you. This place is anything but a family. In my experience, the management and office staff are fake, dishonest, and only pretend to care when it benefits them. Once they have your money, you’re on your own. The office staff are incredibly hypocritical and unprofessional. They treat residents with disrespect and show no real interest in solving problems. Most of the residents are from Jamaica, but that’s not the issue—the real problem is the way this property is managed. If you’re looking for a place where management actually cares about its tenants, stay far away from Urban Blue. This has been one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

  Officially moved out and here is the verdict. My first month in this apartment complex was so rough to the point where I was ready to break my lease and move somewhere else. When I first came to see the apartment, I was not escorted by anyone from the leasing office. The leasing agent insisted she was busy and gave me the keys to view the apartment, even though I had said we could reschedule my appointment. When I saw it, it was a complete mess. There was a washer and dryer in the kitchen, and the place had not been cleaned. I expressed my concerns and was assured that it would be cleaned before I moved in. Before signing my lease, on the surface it looked clean, and they assured me the carpet had been cleaned as well. Lesson learned: I’ll be more thorough in the future. On moving day, I spent all day shopping for supplies. When I got home at night and started washing my sheets, I realized the washer was not working and had flooded with water. I transferred the sheets to the dryer, only to realize the vent was not connected. Getting that sorted out took days. I spent two days cleaning the apartment, and every inch of it was dusty and dirty. In early 2025, my building started looking dirtier and dirtier. It seemed like they had stopped cleaning the stairwells. I also experienced a break-in attempt in 2024, which required me to call the police. I had explicitly requested the leasing office multiple times to notify me of any maintenance so I could be home, as I am not comfortable with people entering my apartment in my absence. Several times, they did not comply with this request. When I brought it up, they said they forgot or that it was missed. The gate was always broken, and I started seeing trash all around the complex. People would leave trash outside of pickup hours, which made the hallways smell. I also started seeing cockroaches in the hallway and even in my apartment, despite keeping it very clean. Customer service is alright if you show up in person but if you have no time and email or call, no action will be taken and you will eventually have to show up physically to get results. During my move out, I have to follow up several times to get an inspection and my deposit back. I loved the design of the apartment, which is why I stayed but I did not enjoy the complex or the management.
