  They hide fees until the end of the application. The pet fees are outrageous. DO NOT PAY THE APPLICATION FEE UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU WANT TO MOVE FORWARD. If you delay or change your mind, they will cancel your application and keep your fee...even though the application was never fully submitted by both applicants or even looked at. Then if you want to move forward they make you pay the application fees again. Read their reviews!! Renters beware!

  I was alarmed to find out that the only way to apply was to allow their AI syatem to access all my bank records. You can not prodive documents as proof. They want access to all your banking records. the other option was to link and give access to my ADP login... anyone who links to my adp...and has access.. would have access to all my companies employees. This business model is far too intrusive. I can easily prove my income various ways.. but rather than me provide them documents... they want to have access to go get the documents from my accounts . This is far too intrusive to expect AI will not comprimise my data and those of my company. Shame on them for thinking this is OK..

  If you have an issue with the house. You have to constantly call to stay on top of it. They need one person to oversee the whole process and they don't have that. The person who answers the phone is nice but more than likely the information they have is in accurate. You have to call the contractor they see his scheduled, more than likely the subcontractor has no idea about it. Then you have to follow up to make sure they approve the quote, then you have to follow up with the subcontractor to make sure he's received the approval. Many times the subcontractor will not do the job, but it will show in their computer that they are scheduled. Bad information is handed off between individuals within the company. You must stay on top of the process, the ball gets dropped many times. They sent one sub to take out part of our shower a month ago and we're still waiting for someone to repair it. Dealing with a corporation that's headquartered on the other side of the country is literally a nightmare. Save yourself headaches and do not rent from Progress Residential.

  My wife and I have been looking for a place to move due to a promotion she received. Finding a new home has definitely been stressful and while we're still in the application process, I wanted to give a shout-out to Cynthia V.. When I called Progress, I was ready to hear disappointed news regarding my questions about the application and house pricing. Cynthia was able to assuage my concerns and reassure me as to how the process works, and how the company honors their prospective customers to the best of their ability. I appreciated her willingness to look into answers to my questions to ensure my wife and I were aligned regarding what to expect as we move forward. Thanks again Cynthia!

  Ken Bailey is always the Service Technician that comes to our home. He's very polite, respectful, thorough, does amazing work couldn't say enough about their maintenance department and this service tech. On the other hand the company and different departments its self are horrible, you can't get anything else accomplished. They're decently cordial but no communication between departments. I hate all the extra fees they impose. Also they charged your water utilities separately through a 3rd party. That's horrible as well. Whatever happened to the tenant paying their own utilities? Stupid
