The access stairs and landing were worn and dirty. The apt. Smelled musty and stale.
The staff at the community are very kind and helpful. The property is well maintained and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. However, there is no security.
The materials and appliances inside the apartments are quite old and of low quality. The dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer don’t work very well. They are maintained regularly, but because they are old, they never seem to perform properly.
Even though our apartment was advertised as renovated, the renovation was done with very low-quality materials. For example, the paint on the kitchen cabinets was so poor that when I placed a paper towel in a drawer and later picked it up, the paint stuck to the paper towel and peeled off. I also believe our bathtub had been refinished with paint, because the coating peeled every time we used it.
The best part of our apartment was definitely the view. However, paying $1,800 per month for a one-bedroom apartment just because of the view was simply too expensive. If the rent had been more reasonable, we probably wouldn’t have moved out. We are now living in a larger apartment for $1,500 per month in a community that has better security, newer appliances, and much higher-quality materials.
One of the things I liked the least was the valet trash service. Even though we paid about $30 per month for trash collection, we often had to take the trash out ourselves. There seemed to be some inconsistency, because even on days when the schedule said trash would be collected, it often wasn’t.
Another thing I didn’t like was that whenever there was maintenance work in the community—such as servicing the dryers—maintenance staff would enter our apartment without our approval. We have a cat, so it was stressful not knowing exactly when people would be coming and going. Also, problems we thought had been fixed often came back again just a couple of months later.
We really loved how quiet and well-maintained the community was, but unfortunately, we don’t think it was worth the price.
On the positive side, whenever we needed anything, the management team was always quick to help. Jessica assisted us when we first rented the apartment, so we mostly communicated with her. She and the rest of the team are wonderful people.
I’d like to thank all of them and wish all the new residents a wonderful experience in the community.

have lived at Lakeview Apartments for the past four years, and until recently, I had very few issues. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the payment process has been extremely frustrating.
Last month, I accidentally submitted my rent payment before the funds were fully available. The money was in my account just a few hours later, but because of that one mistake, my online resident portal was immediately locked. Since then, I’ve been unable to make payments online and have been required to go to Walmart to make every rent payment instead.
I have spoken with the leasing office about this multiple times. Each time, I’m told that only management can unlock the portal, yet no one seems willing to contact management or make any effort to help resolve the issue.
Many people today live paycheck to paycheck and use services like split-payment apps that ensure rent is paid to the property on time while allowing residents to repay the service in installments. Rather than working with residents or offering solutions, the focus seems to be solely on collecting payment by the 3rd of the month. If payment isn’t received immediately, notices are already being placed on doors by the 4th.
I’ve enjoyed living here for several years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management will reconsider its approach and improve communication and flexibility when residents encounter an honest, one-time mistake.
We have been residents here for almost 2 years. We can't say enough good things about the property management. A big , heartfelt THANK YOU! The office staff and maintenance guys all go above and beyond .
