Update #3: i’ve contacted City of Orlando Code enforcement to visit the premises To hopefully help me with this. after going to the front office and speaking with two associates, I was assured that my bathroom will be fixed yesterday. I’ve come home today and it’s still not fixed. Can you imagine going a month without cleaning your ass properly? These people don’t care. Update #2: I finally broke down and went to the leasing office to speak to the manager. I explained to her that I’ve been showering with a cup for almost a month now as a grown man and I will really like my shower fixed. She said they are coming today let’s see. Update: Going on week 4, still not fixed. Imagine coming home from a sweaty dirty day and you have to shower with the cup. This is how much this apartment company actually cares about the residence. At the moment, it’s a nice place. THE MAINTENANCE REQUESTS ARE SLOW AND DO NOT GET COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER. I HAD TO TAKE A SHOWER USING A CUP FOR THREE WEEKS UNTIL THEY CAME AND FIX MY FAUCET. THE TOP SHOWER HEAD DOESNT WORK AND THE BOTTOM FAUCET FLYS OUT THE WALL!!!

I lived at Northbridge at Millenia Lake Apartments for four years and in three different apartments. Unfortunately, every apartment had major issues, with my last unit being by far the worst. I can honestly say I would not recommend living here. The management and office staff are extremely unhelpful and often rude, especially the property manager, Nayeli. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are rarely returned, and when someone does answer, you're often met with an attitude instead of a solution. They rarely communicate with residents and never seem willing to take responsibility when serious issues arise. One of the worst experiences was when my refrigerator stopped working for over two and a half weeks. I lost more than $400 worth of groceries that had to be thrown away. After all the inconvenience, the only compensation they offered was a $200 gift card, which didn't even cover half of what I lost. The air conditioning was an even bigger issue. During the year I lived in my last apartment, I submitted more than 15 maintenance requests for the exact same problem, yet it was never permanently fixed. During the summer, the temperature inside my apartment reached 85 degrees. It became so hot that I had to take my daughter to the emergency room. I called the emergency maintenance line, and no one came for two days. When an HVAC technician finally came out, he told me the entire AC unit needed to be replaced because it could not be properly repaired. According to the technician, management denied his request to replace the unit and instead continued making temporary repairs that never solved the problem. Despite everything I went through, I was told I would receive no compensation at all for months of dealing with an unsafe and unreliable air conditioner. Another major issue is that the property appears to be severely short-staffed. Maintenance requests often take weeks because they have to bring maintenance employees from other properties to complete repairs. As a resident paying premium rent, you shouldn't have to wait weeks for basic maintenance because the property doesn't have enough staff. The property itself is also poorly maintained. The stairwells are dirty and often covered with rat and mouse droppings. Every apartment I lived in had a roach problem. Although pest control is advertised as being included in the rent, if you actually need your apartment treated properly or bombed, you're expected to pay extra. Even getting regular pest control requires submitting multiple work orders, and they only seem to come every couple of months. Safety was another major concern. The apartment community next door frequently had activity that made me feel unsafe, and the gate separating the two properties was broken for the entire four years I lived at Northbridge. Because it was never repaired, people could freely move between the two properties. Despite this ongoing issue, nothing was ever done to fix the gate or address residents' concerns. The front entrance gate was another ongoing problem. It was broken for most of the time I lived there and was only recently repaired. Even when it was functioning, there was no system in place to prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering. Cars would simply tailgate behind residents through the gate, and I frequently saw security sitting at the entrance watching it happen without taking any action. That completely defeats the purpose of having a gated community and creates another serious safety concern. Considering how expensive the rent has become, the level of service, maintenance, and attention to resident safety is completely unacceptable. Since Nayeli became the manager, this property has gone from bad to even worse. Residents deserve timely maintenance, clean common areas, professional customer service, and management that actually addresses serious concerns instead of ignoring them. There are far better communities who actually care about residents.

I would give this place ZERO stars if i could. Please do not be fooled by the very few good reviews. Good reviews are requested. If you are currently looking into this community RUN THE OTHER WAY NOW !There are currently residents there now that are moving, hoping to move and wanting to move. Unfortunately it’s just financially easier for some residents to stay. 1.) You pay for amenities that you rarely have access too. Pools are always having issues or not clean, dog park ? Let’s be serious. There is no actual dog park, two trash compactors are obviously NOT enough for this community due to the trash areas overflowing very often ! Community wifi is very horrible. Residents pay for a community bundle that is including in rent and it is pure robbery for what is going on in the community. 2.) ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES. Roaches are one of the main reasons i had to leave because i could not take it anymore. You will need your unit bombed weekly and even then you will still see them. The infestation in this community is very disgusting and any residents nightmare. Who wants to ruin their home every week for a bombing just to live a slight bit comfortable ? On top of bombing you will need to add your name to the list for follow up spraying every week. They bomb whatever unit request bombing. You do not have to be a genius to know that bombing one unit in a building will not resolve the issue. This community needs every unit to be bombed. If anyone spent as much as i did on insect sprays, traps, etc should be reimbursed because it is ridiculous. However management does not care. To them, its all about the money. Speaking with a few of my old neighbors we would notice that office staff will secretly try to blame each resident for the infestation of the community. When indeed this has been a issue for years in this community. There is not one building in this community that doesn’t have roaches. Rats ! There are rats that roam the hallways like they themselves are residents. Trash in the hallways for pick up doesn’t make this any better. It’s disgusting. 3.) Water is often shut off for issues in buildings. 4.) The community doesn’t look good in the back at all. They prep the front for show. Don’t be fooled. Grass and bushes in the back look horrible most of the time. 5.) Residents from the community next door often visit the pools or cause problems. 6.) they do not care about who they rent too. Long as you can pay your rent on time it doesn’t matter what type of activity goes on. (Previously this place felt family oriented. Now its more like the projects.) I have nothing against the projects but if that’s how the people are expected to live there then they need to reduce rent. I mean come on, who wants to spend that type of money to not live comfortably. 7.) maintenance is a joke. They tell you that if repairs are not done within a certain time then you will get a reduction off rent. COMPLETE BS. Maintenance do what they want when they want. When repairs are not done on time they say it is due to short staff on maintenance meanwhile maintenance freely roam around in golf carts all day like they are cluelessly looking for an assignment. Doing nothing. 8.) The gate is always broken. Anyone and everyone could come as they please in that community. That has been an issue for years as well. 9.) bottom floor hallways are always disgusting. I mean i could write a book about this place and management. I would advise anyone looking to just look a little further. An the ones that are still there should get a lawyer expeditiously. Residents are not getting what they are paying for and they are being robbed for their hard earned money. This community needs to be investigated honestly as well as audited. Whoever is the main head person over that community need to send people out and actually speak with residents and collect all the concerns privately. Show the people that someone care because the staff nor management care about resident concerns, repairs, reports, etc. Without residents you have no business.
