Not the worst place to live, but management definitely neglects things at times. I’ve reached out multiple times about a roach problem, along with other maintenance issues, and lately I’ve mostly been ignored. For $2,200 a month, you’d expect these concerns to be handled much more promptly.
They claim to have a pest control service available to residents, but I’ve submitted work order after work order and nothing seems to be getting done. Unfortunately, after almost two years here, I’m going to start looking elsewhere. I actually like living here, which makes it even more disappointing, but I can’t continue paying this much while dealing with ongoing maintenance and pest issues that aren’t being addressed.
Resident for two years, moved out recently, and finally get to leave this here.
These reviews are not playing. Please take them seriously. I have connected with so many people now, about how this is the worst place they've ever lived. Im backing up all my statements with photos so you feel safe enough to trust my word.
When we first moved in, the model was great, the office was so ready to take back calls, and everything went so smoothly. Until they showed us our apartment we signed on.
1, it stank of cigarettes. Smelled like someone had been smoking in it for years. If that was the only problem, it wouldn't have been too big of a deal. But then 2, our counter was fully lifted up, the cabinets not connected to the countertop, and in between, was a literal infestation of roaches. The kitchen was full of them, the fridge was full of them, the cabinets and the laundry room were full of them. 3, there was pee stains on the carpet and vinyl flooring, lifting up the wood and the stink was unbelievable there too. When we had gone back to a person who worked here at the time, Carlos, who was so helpful and kind at first, he walked through our place and only said "I mean, as a smoker, I cant really even smell the smoke." Which was hilarious to us because..well, the actual infestation of roaches crawling all over our kitchen behind him as he said that.
We had to fight to get moved into another apartment, which was the model. It wasn't until the property manager at the time saw it for himself, that he agreed to meet us in the middle. We were excited about the model, and our rent even went UP by 100. But we took it, because we didn't have much choice. We thought the model would be much better.
The model was not much better. The AC broke a little above 10 times. There was a roach infestation in our AC because of it. We killed around 5 roaches a day for two years. When they came in after the AC had been leaking for days, they sawed out some HVAC parts, and then put the drywall piece back in after they were done "fixing" it. Not only was it not fixed and leaking the literal next day, but the dry wall was never painted over, so we had saw marks in our wall for almost 6 months.
Maintenence will get upset with you for problems that they've created. One day they came in for AC, door stopped accepting their code for some reason (not my fault, they literally have the power to fix this themselves). But for some reason, this was my problem, and while out of town, my AC had started to leak into the vinyl flooring all the way down the hallway. It took them 3 days to figure out that they could fix the door by their dang selves and fix our AC. Our friends went in to check it out, THEY DIDNT EVEN CLEAN THE WATER OFF THE FLOOR. It smelled, molded, and presumably blackish mold started appearing in corners.
It doesn't stop there, but that should be enough for anyone wanting to live here. You will spend more money being here. Whether its because you have to get rid of bugs, or fix parts of the wall they messed up, or if it because they cant do the job quick enough on their own, while having to explain the many fees they charge you that are labeled as "other fees" in the itemized bill, the money you save will be out the window anyway. Please do not move here.
Ive tried contacted Venterra, the district manager, higher ups, but none of them respond. I am begging everyone and anyone who sees this to please not waste years of your life here. It is that serious.
(On the vent photo, look closely at it. I wasn't joking about the roaches.) Steer clear!
P.s., their immediate responses are ironic, considering it took them 3 whole business days to return my call about my leaking, broken AC in July heat. If you respond to my review, respond with a number I can contact that is higher up than the office, that will actually respond. Thank you.

Lived here for 3 years and management has changed multiple times yet never gets any better. The first month we lived here, AC unit had to be completely replaced, I had to blast them on social media on their personal pages to even get a response from management after almost 2 months of no AC, it was replaced. Went several months with a leaky fridge just to be replaced with a fridge from the dumpster missing parts, dents, rusty, complained more and got a new fridge after that. Security officer took pictures of me tanning at the pool, manager watched it on security camera WITH me, watched me cry in their office, promised this officer wouldn’t be on call in our neighborhood, and then I continuously saw the same officer around the neighborhood for months until they recently switched companies thankfully.
NOW THE WORST ISSUE, THE ROACHES! I never dealt with this until the past few months and it has quickly turned into an infestation beyond reason. They are in my bed, my bath, my toilet, my sink, my food, in the walls, the baseboards, the electrical outlets, EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I have been in contact with the manager who promised Actisol treatment 2 months ago and still nothing. I attached several emails so you all can see the LACK of communication and care. Scrolling through these reviews is sad cus it just confirms for me they won’t be helping me as there’s several reviews of roaches without effective solutions until it drives people to just move out. I’m unfortunately stuck in a lease I just signed prior to this infestation. So fun living in such unsanitary conditions. Definitely do not recommend renting here unless you want to be absolutely miserable. These people treat residents as if we’re not even human beings, I get this is yall’s jobs but this is my HOME that I have come to be DISGUSTED LIVING IN.
