  I do not recommend Azul. If you ever need maintenance for anything more complex than changing a light bulb, don't expect it to get done. Azul is supposedly a non-smoking community, yet when my neighbor started smoking weed inside their apartment, the office said they couldn't do anything about it. The smoke came through the ventilation system and was invasive and lingering. The problem only ended when the neighbor moved out. I've also had an ongoing issue with noise and vibration coming from the ventilation. For about four months, the office and maintenance acted as if they didn't understand the problem and didn't listen. They eventually identified the cause, but there's still no fix. I'm now told to wait for contractors who may or may not show up within a month. The staff will come up with endless explanations to avoid doing anything. Most frustrating of all, they don't listen: you open a maintenance ticket, and they close it without resolving the issue.

  Quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I enjoy the surrounding parks and walking around Lake Baldwin.

  Had established a rental of a B1 floor plan from out of town and the unit shown as a model was not representative of the unit 1214 shown prior to occupancy. Sent email about allergies and expectations of carpet and what should have been move in ready we’ll before the actual possession date. Asked several times over the waiting month and a half even up until a week before possession would take place and still the apartment was not available to be viewed prior to the day before set move-in date. The unit presented was un-inhabitable with a horrid smell of rotten food and mold. Walls not patched nor painted from prior tenants, paint chips falling off of tub, cabinets chipped and dents in refrigerator, blinds broken and inoperable as well as, appalling matted and severely stained, and foul smelling unclean carpets. I refused to take possession and Kim the manager calls and states my monies will not be returned and I will be charged rental monies until they re-rent the unit. This is after no occupancy taken and having to cancel movers and all utilities and rental liability property insurance was also paid in advance. This left me w nowhere to move and the portfolio manager Brenda Measerman doubled down on their position of activating the lease and keeping more than $2300.00 of my personal funds even putting the cashiers check through after being told I refused to take occupancy of the horrendous unit. The Community looks gorgeous on the outside however, you don’t live outside and the unit I was presented as move in ready was atrocious. No apologies and zero accountability. I am now forced to file suit and pursue all damages and fees through the legal system which says a lot about this property and their integrity and knowledge of the FL landlord / tenant laws. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! Azul Baldwin Park is nothing short of extortionist. BEWARE!!!!

  Even though I did not end up leasing with Azul (My fault, not theirs), I have nothing but good stuff to say about their staff. Mannie kept a constant line of communication with me and helped through every question or issue I had. I came in for a tour last minute and he didn't even hesistate on staying late if I had more questions about the complex. Great Staff.
