would give 0 stars if possible. maintenance is a pain to get. AC broke twice, had to call and complain for someone to actually come and fix it. power went off randomly and caused our fridge to not work and spoil my roommates and i’s groceries. the workers are listening to the phone ring and completely ignore it. washing and dryer machine randomly shut off and you have to constantly mess with the breakers to get it to work. cherry on top is they charge you for the most ridiculous things when you move out. i’m being charged $27 for a common area cleaning fee. there was 4 total in our unit, and only 3 of us got a common area charge (mind you all 4 of us used this common area, not sure why one person doesn’t have to pay it). This place is trash.

Aperture has been a great place for my daughter to live while attending college. The apartments are beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. Since the community is still new, there are a couple of things that can be improved, but overall, our experience has been great. Most importantly, the supervisors and staff have always been very helpful and responsive whenever we have needed anything. We’re very happy with Aperture and would definitely recommend it to other students.

I would say this student living is better than some other ones in UCF area, but would still be careful choosing to live here.
You have to pay every month for a parking spot in the garage just to park your car at the place you live at. That's crazy if you ask me.
But I could get passed that.
What I can't get passed is how poorly maintained the trash chute was and therefore had fly infestations for the last few months of living here, and I'm sure it's still going on. I really don't wish this on anyone because it is extremely gross and unsanitary. They sent out numerous email stating that the residents need to be careful with leaving food out etc etc as if we were the ones causing it. But my roommate and I literally cleaned every single day and nothing changed. So it definitely wasn't us and was the apartment's fault. Because every time you go to the trash chute there would be a gazillion flies attacking you.
I would say though, maintenance was very good and attentive to concerns so no complaints there!
Management would normally send a lot of updates about this going on so I do appreciate that.
But last thing I want to address is a move out statement I got from them after moving out. They're trying to charge me for not returning any of my keys. This is not only false, but shows the incompetence of the staff/management because all they did was take the keys from you and tell you to fill out a form and didn't even document your name and specific keys you handed in or have any professional process for this. They also failed to provide us with any formal documentation confirming we handed in our keys when we were there physically in the office. I even specifically asked for this documentation and they said as long as I filled out the form then I was good. Well now they're falsely accusing me of not returning their keys, even though I did. That's very unprofessional and just wrong.
So although I really did want to leave this place on a good note, I can't say that I respect this kind of behavior, and hope that nobody else has to deal with being treated this way either.
Thanks for reading, hope this helps give some insights to anyone who read this.

I had a great experience at Aperture Orlando, thanks to Jaiden! She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and really took the time to understand what I was looking for in both a roommate and an apartment. She was attentive, patient, and answered all of my questions, making the process much less stressful. I really appreciated how she listened to my preferences and worked to find options that fit my needs. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the right place, I highly recommend asking for Jaiden! Thank you for making my apartment search such a positive experience!

If I could give this apartment complex zero stars, I would.
This community opened far too early and was clearly not ready for residents. Since moving in, it has been one issue after another. It took months just to receive our garage decals, and the garage itself has been a nightmare. Construction continued for months after residents moved in, often blocking the already limited space to get in and out of the garage. There were multiple times we had to sit and wait for construction crews to finish before we could even access the garage.
Parking is one of the biggest problems. There is essentially no guest parking, and the few spaces that do exist are extremely limited and almost always full. Having visitors is unnecessarily stressful because there is simply nowhere for them to park.
The biggest issue, however, is management’s lack of concern for residents. My roommate’s bathroom flooded so badly that we had to call the fire department to stop the flooding. The flooding caused our power to be shut off, and everything in our refrigerator went bad. Management only repaired the bathroom and showed no concern for the food we lost or the inconvenience we experienced. There was no accountability, assistance, or effort to make the situation right.
Overall, communication has been poor, resident concerns are ignored, and the property feels like it was rushed to open before it was actually ready. For the price residents pay, this level of service and management is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend living here.
