  My husband and I purchased a brand-new home from Ryan Homes believing we were making one of the best decisions for our family. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. We have only been in the home for 21 days, and we have already experienced multiple serious issues. On our very first night, the sewer backed up throughout the house. Sewage came up through multiple bathrooms and even reached my closet, damaging clothes and other personal belongings that we had to throw away. For approximately two days, we could not properly use the toilets or showers because the plumbing was not functioning correctly. We were later informed that concrete was found inside the plumbing pipes. For a brand-new home, this raises serious concerns about the inspection and quality-control process before closing. How does concrete end up inside the plumbing of a newly constructed home, and how was the home cleared for closing without this being discovered? We have also had issues with the yard and sod installation, including noticeable dips and holes. When we reported the problem, we were told that the yard was supposed to be that way and that it would eventually fill in. We purchased a new home expecting the property to be properly completed—not something that feels like a fixer-upper. Another major concern was our rear sliding glass door, which would not properly lock, creating a safety and security concern for our family. It took approximately three weeks to get this issue corrected. Since moving in, we have had multiple contractors come into our home to address different problems. We are extremely frustrated that so many issues have had to be discovered and corrected after we took possession. We purchased our home expecting Ryan Homes to deliver a safe, complete, and properly inspected new home. Instead, our first 21 days have involved sewage backups, damaged belongings, plumbing problems, yard issues, a security concern, repairs, and delays. We sincerely hope Ryan Homes takes these concerns seriously and provides a comprehensive inspection and resolution rather than continuing to address problems one at a time. We wanted our dream home. Unfortunately, so far, the experience has felt more like a nightmare.

  We relocated to Florida from Maryland and were actually the fourth buyers to sign a contract in the Copperleaf community. Building a home from another state was a little nerve-racking, and we flew down to Florida several times during the process to see the progress for ourselves. Fortunately, we had Dwight as our project manager, and he is truly a taskmaster! He stayed on top of our build, kept everything moving and communicated with us every single week. Whether it was a phone call, text or pictures of the progress, we always knew what was happening with our home. That meant a lot when we were hundreds of miles away. We’ve now been in our home for a little over a year and genuinely enjoy both our house and the Copperleaf community. For our 11-month warranty inspection, we hired our own independent inspector. He was very impressed with how the home had held up during that first year. He found very few signs of settling and specifically commented on how well our roof had been installed, which was great to hear from someone who had no connection to Ryan Homes. Were there a few bumps along the way? Of course. We had some minor issues before closing, but Dwight, Jeremy and their supervisor Jason worked with us and made sure those concerns were addressed. No new-build experience is going to be absolutely perfect, but looking back after living here for a year, we can honestly say ours was a very good one. We love our home, we love the community, and we’re very happy we chose Copperleaf.

  Ryan homes I want to let you know that Joe Lopez your sales rep was an absolute professional and joy to work with. We purchased the sandalwood and it's a fantastic home. Love the space between the neighbors. Are experience has been great with construction as well. Big shout out to my project manager Dwight as well. These gentlemen are an asset to your company and I believe they will go far. Thank you Ryan homes, Joe, and Dwight. Me and my wife Gloria are happy in are new home.

  Our experience with the team throughout this entire project was truly exceptional. The representative joe lopez was incredibly professional and ensured that all of our needs were met with great care. We felt consistently supported by the project manager Dwight, whose attention to detail made the process seamless for us. Both my spouse and I are absolutely delighted with the final results of our home improvement. We highly recommend this dedicated group of professionals to anyone looking for quality service and peace of mind.
