- SHSandy HuntAug 20, 20265.0Our sales consultant, Jonathan Burg, and construction manager, Javier Borges, made building down South while living up North a breeze. We were kept informed of the progress regularly which was much appreciated and found both to be extremely knowledgeable in their fields of expertise. Laura, our design consultant, listened to us as we described our vision for our new home. She narrowed down the plethora of choices to just a few which made our decisions much easier. We are extremely pleased with the overall process and the care and attention offered during the building and designing of our beautiful new home.
- JMJunior MeadeJul 31, 20264.0Our home buying/building experience was good overall. Our sales rep Kim Moore was terrific. She was professional, responsive and communicated clearly - we really enjoyed working with her. We were also extremely pleased with our Construction Manager Daniel who kept us apprised of updates, progress and speed bumps; and he built us a quality home in a reasonable timeframe. Our design experience with Laura was also great - her experience, insight and suggestions were valuable and most appreciated. Five weeks into living here we’ve met a lot of great people who came to DWOC from all over. Everyone has been helpful, kind and welcoming, and there are so many ways for us to continue meeting new folks. We expect we’ll really enjoy living in DWOC in the coming years. Sales, design and construction get 5 stars from us. But our overall rating is lowered given a couple of the builder’s partners and how we rated them. The preferred tech/AV vendor Vitex/Uxari was not good. They’re pushy and slick and their prices are awful - why they have exclusivity is concerning. They will tell you theirs are your only options - they are not. Shame on them and shame on Del Webb. Pulte Mortgage seems very proficient at making a simple situation complex and extremely cumbersome….so much so that we went with an outside lender a few months into the process.
