If you want the typical landlord special, then this apartment is for you! We really needed a place to rent with limited time so some things were overlooked, but once settled we noticed all the small details. They painted over roaches and hair. Horrible paint job! Upon moving in, the dishwasher and fridge had so many dead roaches in it.. we haven’t had the chance to use the dish washer the years of living here.
The tub was painted horribly. After three weeks, the paint stripped revealing rust. The bathroom has no ventilation AT ALL! Mold starts to build up fast. The bathroom vanity is falling apart from water damage and the base boards are cheap. The only difference between a renovated unit and a non-renovated is the cheap stick on flooring, stainless steel appliance (fancy!), the easy to stain white cabinets, and the cheap stick on marble counter tops. While touring I pointed out the dead roaches in the pantry and the blond leasing agent said it was outside bugs. If you’re going to bomb the place, at least clean and vacuum afterwards!!
They are very selective in who they enforce the rules on, although they strictly say two cars per unit, some people have 4+ cars. And more than the enforced amount of people living in the units. My neighbor had 4 people including the two that lived there, in a TWO bedroom apartment. Which isn’t that big of an issue except when they took our assigned spot or the fact that they had two cars each. Some people run their business in the parking lot, using it as their personal garage. They don’t even live there!! Limiting the space for others. Assigned parking? Not anymore!’
The lanai/small porch in the apartment, has rotted out wood panels and structural rotted out or damaged by termites.
They say they will handle things and nothing gets resolved. Or it’s a temporarily fix. The maintenance team is nice. They ask to submit positive reviews.
