  There has been no onsite manager at our property for months. They can't hire one, and they can't keep one. We've been dealing with billing errors dating back to February—more than five months—and instead of correcting their mistakes, they're now threatening to send our account to collections. No one will actually speak with us. Every attempt to resolve the issue results in another "request" being opened, but nothing ever gets resolved. We were repeatedly told we needed an "account specialist," only to discover that this appears to be nothing more than an administrative assistant in our own office. The regional manager is always "in a meeting." She has never returned a single phone call. On Tuesday, I was promised the Branch President would call me the following day. That call never came. To make matters worse, they added a nearly $700 damage charge to our account, claiming our tenant was responsible. Our tenant maintains the damage was caused by malfunctioning equipment, which has a long history of malfunctioning. The only evidence that could have resolved the dispute was surveillance footage, which has since been erased. At this point, we've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We also discovered that the company has received 787 BBB complaints over the past three years, many describing experiences remarkably similar to ours. We are now preparing to contact the Board of Directors, file a complaint with the DBPR, and consult with an attorney regarding our options. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional customer service experiences we've ever encountered. Months of billing errors, unanswered calls, broken promises, and a complete lack of accountability have left us with no confidence that this company is willing—or able—to resolve problems it created.
