  Beware of moving here - insane construction on both the North and South of the building. Grinding, jackhammers all day. I moved in and was told on the north side there would not be construction for much longer - its been almost 6 months and only getting worse with no signs of finishing soon. The South side is 10x worse. I am happy with the staff I will say. But they are trying to raise rents on current tenants even despite insane construction noise even THROUGH THE NIGHT. The construction has even punctured probably 10+ tenants car tires and they have done nothing to help. Just pass along and tell us how lucky we are to live here. Oh and the heat went out in winter constantly. It was freezing. Unsecure package room, have had several packages just disappear. Avoid at all costs unfortunately and do not trust the reviews - they recently asked for 5 star reviews with some promotional nonsense. There are much better buildings in the area and I honestly regret my choice to move here.

  After 3 years...The Hamilton has been a consistently positive place to live, especially when it comes to comfort and day‑to‑day experience. The apartments are spacious, bright, and thoughtfully laid out, with large balconies that make the units feel open and inviting. The building is well-maintained, and the common areas are kept clean and orderly. One thing we genuinely appreciate is the staff—they have always been professional, attentive, and helpful in every interaction. Their approach makes a noticeable difference in the overall atmosphere of the building. While every property has room to improve, The Hamilton offers a strong combination of space, comfort, and reliable service.

  My husband and I have lived at the Hamilton almost 3 years and we love it. The Hamilton has some of the most spacious units you’ll find in Edgewater. The layouts actually make sense, the rooms feel open, and the natural light makes the apartments really comfortable to live in. The balconies are large too, which adds to the overall feeling of space. The building is clean and well‑kept, and the maintenance team is consistently helpful and responsive. There are a few things that could be improved, but if you value larger, brighter units in a waterfront location, The Hamilton is a strong option.

  While apartment searching a few months back I couldn’t seem to find the place. Though as soon as I walked into the Hamilton I knew this was it. I didn’t look for one more place & we have now been living here for about a year. I absolutely love it here, the entire building is beautiful, the apartments are huge, the staff is so sweet, and most importantly to me, the energy of the place is always amazing. It feels like home 🏠✨
