  Our first month at Avocet has exceeded our expectations! Michelle Hoole was the first person we spoke with about renting an apartment, and she was positive, welcoming, and always a pleasure to talk to. She answered all our questions with professionalism and a personal touch, showing a sincere interest in helping us find the apartment that best met our needs. When we moved in on a Friday, the oven was not working, and a light bulb needed to be replaced. Ernesto, the head of maintenance, was very helpful. He replaced the bulb immediately and assured us that the oven would be repaired on Monday. Michelle kept us informed of the timeline and followed through to make sure the repair was completed without us having to call for updates. We truly appreciate the care and responsiveness we have experienced. Michelle and Ernesto have helped make our move to Avocet a positive experience!

  I just moved into The Avocet at Melbourne, and I couldn’t be happier! The community is beautiful with fantastic amenities, and my apartment was absolutely immaculate upon move-in. The office staff made the entire transition incredibly smooth and comfortable—they were helpful, direct, and welcoming right from the start. To top it all off, I was able to take advantage of an amazing two months free rent special and even won a $1,000 gift card!

  Pretty sure my review got deleted but apartment complex going downhill. The coffee section are always low and are never restocked, wished they offered more choices like tea and creamers. Office managers hate their job or something and are cranky half the time. Dog poop everywhere on the grass, Walls are super thin can literally here everything upstairs. Around the clubhouse is dirty and saw a dead roach by the pool table. Overall, they get you with the 2 months of rent free with no security deposit. Then the next year the jump up your rent and require a $600 security deposit up front.

  Front office never restock their coffee and goodies. Could you guys provide more condiments like half and half, creamers and teas? Rent is expensive and they don't really provide lots of amenities compared to other places.

  I’ve been living at Avocet in Melbourne, FL and overall it’s been a really good experience so far. This is a newer complex in a quiet area, which I love. It’s only about 15 minutes from the beach, so getting to the water is easy when I want a quick escape. The grounds are kept clean, there’s never been any parking issues, and the beautiful pool is literally just steps from my front door—super convenient. The apartments themselves are well maintained and spacious. Everything feels solid and thoughtfully laid out. One special shout-out: the application process was made so much easier thanks to Cassie. She provided much-needed help with the technology side of things and made the whole leasing experience smooth and stress-free. All in all, I’m happy with my choice. Clean, quiet, convenient, and well-run. Highly recommend Avocet if you’re looking in the Melbourne area.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
