    I had a wonderful experience at Maeva! The community is beautiful, well-maintained, and has such a welcoming atmosphere.     Natalie is truly a gem! She has always been incredibly helpful, professional, and kind. Even after I moved out of the complex, she has continued to go above and beyond by helping me with package-related issues. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and willing to assist others, regardless of whether it’s part of their responsibility.     Do not rent here! They list themselves as a luxury apartment, they are not. I lived here for 2 years and experienced 4 different managers. The apartments themselves nice, but very cheaply made, you will experience, the floor bubbling up and cracking, door handles falling off and issues with appliances. The grounds are not very clean, trash is usually in the halls, and the trash will be a problem anytime there is a holiday and trash does not come. My unit was located near the dog wash which unlike the other amenities has no key and is open 24/7, homeless frequently enter to bathe. I went to management about this on 2 different occasions. I was told I needed to take pictures and videos so they knew who to look for. I moved into my unit when the building was new, I was met by a horrible sulfur smell. I learned this is normal when pipes sit for awhile with no water flowing thru them. The issue is that management did not warn me about this and when I told them they said they were aware and told me to run the water and it will go away. It took 4 days to go away, and unbearable to the point where I could not live in the apartment for the first 4 days of the lease. When I asked what we could do the manager offered to credit the water bill, that never happened. If they knew this was an issue. As the building started to fill with new residents, this was a common complaint. This same building had an issue with flickering lights, management insisted we needed to call the electric company, which we did several times. The issue turned out to be electrical and was fire hazard, which took months to resolve. Management never told residents about what was going on until after it was finally fixed. The parking situation was awful, parking spots are optional, you can just park where you want. Management attempted to implement parking passes, and threatened residents for months. The pool closes at 7pm even in the summer when the sun does not go down until later. The pool is also the only place where you can use the grill, so not only do you lose access to the pool when the sun it up, but you will also lose access to the grills. At some point the office decided to reduce their business hours with a message to residents that it was to better service us?? Weird. I had an issue where my ice maker stopped making ice. I created an online work order for it to be looked at. Maintenance closed the work order that it was resolved. They never came to my unit, I work from home and would have noticed someone in my kitchen. Management argued with me that if they said it's fixed it was fixed. It was not, 3 work orders later I was told it was under warranty and would need the warranty company to look at it. I asked weekly when they would come and was told they come when they come and they had no idea when the surprise visit would be. After nearly 2 months of no ice and a new management company I learned there was no warranty company. These are only a few of the issues I can think of off the top of my head. I recommend not renting from here.
