I must say Cinthia has done a great job since she has been here. thank you for helping us make a renewal decision. This has been the easiest process. Looking forward to more years here.
We've been here 9 months and had a couple of issues, but Madison made it right. One of them was flying termites, with information from them I was able to locate the general location of entry. The tech from the pest control service was then able to kill them with foam. It was ongoing and took a minute to solve the overall problem, but they got it right. I also had an AC issue which maintenence was able to solve right away. The office staff are very patient. Jacob and the rest of maintenance do a great job. Overall I definitely recommend Madison Apts.

Daniel was great! He communicated every step of the way! Every problem that popped up from moving out of state and new Jobs was handled calmly and professionally! He remembered personal details and tried to work around our schedule! Hardworking Man and a Beautiful welcoming community!

Madison at Largo has a very kind and professional staff, and I want to start by recognizing that. Unfortunately, despite the staff being pleasant to work with, this was easily the worst apartment community I have ever had the disprivilege of living in.
The biggest issue is the age and condition of the property. The buildings are extremely old, and it shows throughout the community. Within a day of moving in—before we had even brought our belongings into the apartment—we noticed pest issues that we were never able to fully resolve during our two years there. We routinely dealt with both large and small roaches entering through gaps and openings in walls, cabinetry, and other areas of the unit. The apartment also did not appear to have been properly deep cleaned before move-in. The dryer lint trap was full, the dishwasher filter was visibly dirty and disgusting, and furniture left behind by a previous resident had not been removed. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the issues.
The community has severe problems with its water infrastructure. During our two-year stay, water service was shut off NINETEEN, yes, NINETEEN separate times. These interruptions ranged from a couple of hours to an entire day and were often provided with little or no advanced notice. I have NEVER lived anywhere that experienced such frequent water outages.
Another major issue was noise. There is effectively no sound insulation between upstairs and downstairs units. We could hear nearly everything from the apartment above us—footsteps, conversations, furniture movement, and even beds creaking. The noise was not subtle and made working from home extremely difficult.
There were numerous other problems as well. Maintenance requests were occasionally marked as completed when the work had not actually been performed. The pool was frequently closed. At one point, the air-conditioning condensation line from the unit above ours leaked into our apartment and walls, creating an additional maintenance issue that had to be addressed, I could go on, but I want to get to my point.
PLEASE look elsewhere. While the staff members were always courteous and tried to help when they could, the property itself overshadowed those efforts. For the rent being charged, you can do so much better than here. The community presents itself well from the outside, but our experience living there was consistently frustrating.
I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before signing a lease here. This is not worth the $2,000 monthly cost, nor would it even be worth 20 or 30% less.

Now that I'm no longer a resident I can write a truthful review, the used to offer 100 gift cards if we left reviews. this is the worst place ever! Rats in homes and they blow you off like it's normal. the grounds are not cared for at all! we had water coming in our apartment from last year during hurricanes to the point there were waves in home and nothing was done, our furniture ruined and mold all over everything. we submitted work orders and they would just close them stating they handled them, after 9months of nothing being done. we couldn't take it and moved out. they had men show up to my apartment and my minor son refused him at the door as we were not made aware anyone was coming, that same worker came back and tried to enter the apartment again, totally unacceptable! now they have a collections lady name Donna harassing me, I offered to make payments and she's refusing because we won't give her our new address! after men just showing up, we don't feel safe providing that info, she said THEN WE WONT ACCEPT YOUR PAYMENT!!DO NOT MOVE HERE!
