Really hate doing this, but it is only fair for consumers. I have been here for about a year and a half and there has been company/property management changes, along with managements in front office and staff. I was told to “just give us a chance to get things in order” not just once. Well things continue to pile on, and not in a positive way.
First of all, do not depend on the internet that you are required to have. It is not consistent and goes out more often than not. Second, if you have emergencies, don’t count on it being a priority. The emergency line doesn’t work, no one answers. When you email the manager and assistant manager on right steps for the future, you don’t get a response (emailed back in July, it is August with no response from manager or assistant manager). When I say emergency I mean, AC going out twice in summer, massive leaks in your apartment ceiling on 3 separate occasions within a week. Yes, three because they don’t correct the issue. Finally after being taken seriously, again, after three times of having to walk downstairs and even video proof, it took four extra visits to fix the ceiling, which they simply painted over after scraping the ceiling off. No help or assistance in cleaning up the mess, or personal items destroyed due to their lack of....well everything as you can see; I was told, sorry not my problem its not my job to clean.
I have had mold growth in my unit along with humidity issues. I have had to purchase my own dehumidifier to help. You can try to talk to management and they will be nice to your face and provide these empty promises, including stating they will escalate the situation to see what they can provide for me, just for them to say oh I never said that.
The gym is missing equipment/weights. There has been a broken treadmill approaching a year that they just say fixed and close the work orders. We have given up on that one. Btw, you pay an amenity fee for this lack of working equipment and maintenance. The water fountain in the dog park has been broken for a year and a half (was working for one total month of living here). Same scenario with work orders.
Recently, I had ask for updates on a work order so I didn't need to keep calling in. They say “well we put notes when we close it”. This leaves you to call and pester for updates on broken appliances and they say you don’t need to call, ummm....yes we do or else nothing will get fixed and we get ignored, examples above!! I was told not to call in and ask until the week had past, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
There is trash and poop and urine smell all over the stairways constantly, they only make sure to clean the areas you walk through and see on tour. They threaten you with extra charges if us as tenants can’t get the lone culprits that trash the place under control, yet they can’t take care of their own property working smoothly.
I can go on with a list in much much greater detail, but trust the fact that there are a bunch of other better communities out there, this one is not worth it so much so that I prefer to pay extra to break a lease than stay any longer.
** For management responses - don't bother lying to the public with your generic responses or to come see you. Been there done that. **
