I have been dealing with an ongoing roach issue in my unit since OCTOBER when I moved in, and it has still not been resolved. Pest control has been sent multiple times, including very frequent treatments, but the problem continues to come back. I am still seeing both large roaches and baby roaches, which clearly shows the issue is ongoing. I formally reported this months ago and specifically asked for a real solution, including inspection of surrounding units, not just repeated spraying. While the office acknowledged the issue, there was never a clear plan or follow-up explaining how it would actually be resolved.
On April 21, I was approved for a transfer and told the fee would be waived. I responded the same day with basic questions about rent, lease terms, and next steps, and never received a response. I was later told my case was being handed to a manager, but I still did not receive any communication from her. At one point, pest control entered my unit with no notice at all and my door was left UNLOCKED when I returned home. That alone was extremely concerning. As of now, inspections were scheduled across the property, but I still have not received a response about my situation, despite multiple emails and follow-ups. Meanwhile, I am continuing to see roaches in my apartment.
When I finally spoke to the office in person, I was told that transferring would require a rent increase and signing a completely new lease, which is not reasonable considering this transfer is only needed due to an unresolved issue in my current unit. At this point, the issue has been ongoing for months, has not been resolved despite repeated efforts, and communication from management has been extremely inconsistent. I have documented everything and escalated this further because this situation has not been handled properly.
