  My recent experience with PMI Jacksonville has been a nightmare. Philip is a nice guy but completely unresponsive to emails and calls, effectively leaving me high and dry when I needed assistance. Save yourself the stress and find a management team that actually communicates and fulfills their obligations.

  Philip is kind to speak to, however if you need something, he can be highly unresponsive. My shared tenants and I will go months, years now without repair.

  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! Booked a property for Thanksgiving week months and months ago for an extended family vacation. Talked to Phil Ashby directly who took my deposit. Emailed and called many times to pay the remainder of the deposit and find out about checkin protocols. They did not respond to emails and their phone was disconnected! When I finally got a hold of someone they told me that they did not manage this property anymore! Do you think they would have called to let me know that this property was not available while keeping my deposit?!!! Extemely unprofesssional! Now with 2 weeks left until vacation we are scrambling to find a place!

  After owning and managing my Apartment Rentals for over 20 years I had become exhausted. Giving up the day to day tasks to Philip and Emily of PMI was the best decision I have ever made. They manage my property, my tenants and my expenses as if it were their very own. They keep me involved as much as I want to be involved and also handle issues on their own. It is up to me to decide how involved I want to be. I don't know why we didn't go with a management company like this years ago. I defiinitly would have had less grey hair. Ironically, I am actually making more money after hiring them than I was when I provided all services myself. I realize there are a few negative comments on this Google review site, however I can assure you...the more than 20 years of being an apartment manager/owner, the tenants who complain they are being mistreated, are the ones that are behind on rent. I have always found this"phenomenon" to be twisted but sadly true. The saying you can't please everyone, Emily and Phillip do a fantastic job. Furthermore, I have not received any complaints from either of my 60 units since they have taken over. If my tenants are happy, I am making money and my properties are kept up, then I am happy!!!
