This community is a joke. They send out texts enforcing rules that nobody will follow, and they do not do anything to enforce these rules. They raise your water bill all of a sudden and claim its because they can't check your meter, then proceed accuse you from removing it off the house when its been under the house the whole time and the new crew didn't want to crawl under the house to read it like previous crews have. So not only are they raising your bill without proper reason, they accuse you of the reason they don't want to do their job. Living here is like being in class with a substitute teacher, the naturally civilized people will follow rules without struggle, but the ones who see an advantage to take, or just outright disregard, proceed to ruin it for the good people. The substitute teacher knows they're only here temporarily, so why bother bringing any order? that is how the management here at country roads see this place and its inhabitants. Every 6 months a new team comes in, so there's no real effort to reprimand the ones causing issues in the community, they just deal with it until they've made their money and its on the next dump.

Another year of living here in short. Management will send out text messages telling you not to park on the streets, but if someone happens to ignore this rule, like all other rules implemented here, it is your job to call the tow company to remove the vehicle from blocking your ability to get into your own driveway. they allow people to put 2-3 sheds on public driveways, blocking access to family and friends coming to visit. People with two brain cells could guess the kind of frustration this could cause. people allow their dogs to roam freely off leash, walk beside your house, and allow stray animals to roam the neighborhood. The people who do not abide by these rules are hostile and asking them to stay to their own space or follow the same rules as everyone else, you're met with the threat of being shot or beat up. The office will lie to you and say they will address these issues just to get you out the door, then do nothing for months to years other then just tell you it's a process. Trailers parks get the bad rep because of the people who live within them, and the people who oversee them. At this point, Country roads is no different then any apartment complex in the slums of Jacksonville. Trash is always blowing into your yard from someone else's, neighbors who RENT will have grass that is 4-5 feet in height and the community maintenance crew will not cut it, people put fences between each other using baby gates/dog gates/wooden fences, so the neighborhood just looks disorganized and embarrassing. This place has become the wild wild west and the only ones who appreciate living here are the lawless who take advantage of others and respond with violent when spoken to. I have been accused of removing a water meter off my home because maintenance did not want to crawl under my home to check it. everything about country roads is sad and as long as people continue to come here, they will never care to change their practices.

Here's what it's like living here. I've lived here since 2018, and this community changes management every 6 months, each time new rules being enforced as old rules are disregarded with no communication. They will lie to get you in the door and act confused when you confront them on the inconsistencies throughout the community. The current management will certainly listen to your concerns and complaints with smiles and nods, to make it seem as though they understand. They say they're working towards a resolution, when in reality, they say what they can to get you out of the office as fast as possible. My water bill has been doubled at times because the office did not want to crawl under the trailer to read the meter, and once questioned about the increase, I was accused of removing my water meter from the back of mobile home, which is still attached and located under my trailer. I was then told that the office would be installing "digital meters" on everyone's home, but of course that never happened and my water bill conveniently returned to the amount it had been for years prior. Once you've voiced a complaint many times, they no longer assist you, and direct you to a company number to voice any further concerns. There has been no response at all since reaching out over a month ago, and this can only leave me to assume they do not care. They impose rules regarding keeping trash free from your area, and keeping dogs on leashes, but do not enforce any penalty if rules are broken, as neighbors trash will constantly blow in your yard, as well as dogs ambushing you if you decide to walk around the neighborhood. The office will tell you to "ask them to stop" yet the people committing these acts feel entitled to continue doing so, due to a lack of enforcement by community guidelines, so asking them to stop is considered a form of disrespect in the eyes of the offenders. I've had to call cops due to being threatened to be shot if I were seen outside the community, or if I was seen in my yard for simply asking to maintain respectful boundaries and keeping any trash from entering into neighboring yards. This was because I was doing what my community management told me to do, even though I voiced several times to that I feared after a certain point, talking would only lead to escalated conflict unless management stepped in on an official level. Even after having my life and safety threatened, I was told by to continue asking the person who threatened me with a weapon to "please stop". The people responsible for committing these acts sometimes come from people who are not even members of this community. They don't allow people to park on the streets, but will allow people to block public driveways and parking spaces with sheds and trash. You have no privacy, you have no boundaries, and you have no voice in this community, even though Country Roads attracts people to live here based on these same amenities. If you're someone who doesn't mind imposing their will and constantly having to fight and argue for basic respect and decency, then this community is perfect. If you're someone who keeps to themselves, respects the rules of the community, and live as if everyone should be held to equal rules and respect, then I would heavily suggest reviewing the videos/photos attached here and look somewhere else to live.
